Shout out to Joe Biden's mother for standing up to that nun who made fun of his stutter!!!

I had eight years of private Catholic school and I can confirm how downright cruel some of the nun's could be. Their special pets were the kids from wealthy families. They would belittle the kids from the poorer families. I remember in the second grade, our teacher was a Catholic nun, and she would pick on the less privileged little boys. One day, that I will never forget, she made a little seven year old boy stand in front of the class were she pointed out the patches on his pants. That little boy was completely silent while his little face turned red as tears streamed down his face. When I went home that day, I told my parents what she did. I learned, many years later that both my mother and father reached out to that little boy's parents and went on to report that nun to the Mother Superior. She never picked on him again, but that kind of damage can't be undone, and I think that she should have been forced to issue an apology to that little boy in front of the whole class.The other boys called him "patches". His parents, very wisely, sent him to public school the next year. Most of those nuns came from very poor families themselves, so I believe that they were taking out their own childhood experiences on the less fortunate. My father had a very good job as a mechanical engineer, so we never had to go without, but we were taught to have compassion for others, something that was sorely lacking in those cruel nuns. They were just self righteous hypocrites.

I'm a 19 year old guy. I used to stutter when I was a kid, I worked on it and now it's slowly going away. It wasn't easy though, people made fun of me but I didn't care.

History will be kind to Joe Biden, even if we are not

He gave it his all ,everything he could, even with all the losses and suffering he endured. More than most people would have. We should not just remember a good person's final chapters, thank you President Biden.

I had no idea prior to this documentary that President Biden had endured so much personal loss throughout his life. Imagine being elected as Senator and on your first day setting up office you get the gut wrenching news that your wife and daughter had died in a tragic car accident and your sons had been severely injured. Then for Bo to die of brain cancer just as his political career was gaining strength. I'd be curled up in fetal position myself considering all he was going through. Salute to President Biden for just surviving all the loss. President Biden is truly a man of not just great intestinal fortitude but a man with phenomenal intestinal fortitude. 👏👏👏. This President deserves a lot of credit. And the American peoples gratitude.

It doesn't matter what side of the isle you are on. We all felt the lost with Joe over Beau. No parent should ever outlive their child...

I just picture the poor man sitting alone in a room with Covid at his home in Delaware where his career began, 81, the fate of 250 years of the world’s leading democracy on his shoulders, the fate of global democracy on his shoulders, without the strength to go on anymore, no one believing in him anymore, wishing he could’ve been President just a little bit younger, and making the selfless choice to give up the very thing he wanted and worked for all his life, the most powerful and prestigious office in the world, not for selfish reasons, but for the good of the country. Echoing the selflessness of LBJ, and the bravery of Ford. That’s why they call him the last politician, that’s why he’s a hero, that’s why he’s one of the best presidents in American history.

I don’t know how any American can see this story and not stand behind him completely.

He has done well considering the damned Congress did not pass Build Back Better, which had housing assistance in it.

Some men won't give up until they have no energy left. We saw this in videos of soldiers in wwII and I saw this in my father who struggle with colon cancer trying to keep his small business going. Finally the cancer won as he no longer had enough colon left to absorb the energy from the food he ate and his doctor refused to prescribe infusions that would provide him energy. He would collapse and look quite unhealthy, go to the hospital and receive these treatments and return looking healthy. Did his doctor receive warnings that the insurance would not pay him if he prescribed this care? Dad kept trying and working on a newsletter for fellow estimates until one day he just couldn't continue and sadly he told me he quit. I gained great respect for my dad as I spent 6 years working with him, driving him to his doctors and the hospital.

We love you Biden. Thank you for all you’ve done and all you are! 🎉 A great and decent man.

I wish you had included something from his inaugural in the aftermath of the Jan 6 insurrection. I remember the calm, gratitude, relief, & sense of trust I felt that night after 4 years of Trump's mayhem. God bless President Biden. May he complete his term with dignity & peace of mind.🙏
