Sharing a journey of a couple who left Canada after the struggle of 1 year. This is another side of the coin where people don't get success and leave Canada. It is important to know the actual struggle and know that people leaving Canada. Don't consider this as a demotivational video but rather be mentally prepared and set yourself for success.

Hats off to this guy. He worked so hard to help his ailing wife. And did everything he could in his capacity.

Putting everything aside I want to applaud their honesty and bravery for coming forwrd and sharing these. I have gone through anxiety issues myself and sharing these exp. helps create awareness.
  • These people are babies. No one can be successful within a year. I am also IIT graduate with MBA and I worked in restaurant when I came to USA. For me it took about 4 years to get the satisfactory job and settle down. Struggle is everywhere. Itโ€™s just how you take it. As of now I work 5 days a senior Engineer and weekends I work in hotel as a front desk plus just started my PhD in Global Leadership. Brother, since you are educated, not today but tomorrow you will definitely find a better job . So my advice is you both are very young and still you have time to invest in struggle to find the better job so do it.

IT guy with masters and working in india having 5 or 6 yrs of experience is not supposed to do a labour job in canada and pick 80 kg stuff. It is not worth it.

Upon watching the complete interview, what stood out to me was the genuine affection they share for one another. This affection was demonstrated in various subtle ways during the course of the interview. It is my hope that despite the unpleasant experience, your relationship has been strengthened as a result.

Great eye opener for a lot of folks who are coming or planning to come here. Unfortunately there were a lots of hardships that you both faced. One of the great positives was that both of you were together to support each other during this time.

Went to Canada on PR in 2015 with good qualifications and experience, spent 1 year. Returned back to India in 2016 after 1 year... Same story...

I listened to your whole podcast and it was so satisfying and consoling to watch. I'm a student, and I came a year ago. What happened to you, happened to me as well that it has been a year and I had most of negative experiences out of every experience I have had, from accommodation to roommates to me having no mattress and I'm sleeping on wooden floor because I was new and didn't have proper jacket where there was central heating and heaters were not on when it was starting of fall and my 2 others roommates living in same master bedroom didnt care to even offer me their jackets at least, I began my journey as a new student of canada. This experience was nothing what I went through later. So, yes, this is the scene of new students coming to Canada, you have to be prepared not only about house, but people around you, how roommates can exploit, grocery, rent etc. And most importantly for girls or people who are soft spoken or never have been exposed to real world, they have to be prepared not mentally but also to speak upfront and not be hesitant or think that what will others think if I speak. It is really important to take stand for yourself. I think it is important for people to beware or have slightest idea of what type of situation they can get into, so that at that point of time they will be like, ok, i saw this coming now what is the solution of it, otherwise if you dont have slightest idea than first you will be shook, than you can get into panick mode, and instead of finding solution you will get confused and then you can have all type of negative thoughts that why i came here, did i make right decision, and at certain point of time, you start to doubt and question in every type of decision you make. Secondly, as a student when you have study permit, I would like to focus that right now getting job is the most difficult thing here. Even after having full time availability, related job experience, job related license like security or smart serve, the probability of getting job is very very low. For one position vacant 20-30 people goes and applies, whereas in some case there are even 100's. So, I know the comment is too long but I wanted to express what i felt and I would feel really good if any person or girl who is like me sees my comment just braces themselves and have a reality check as a student. Some student may have wonderful experiences, and some may have worse, and worst people can do is to compare both of those lives and say ki isne to yaha aake itna kuch kar liya, tu kya kar raha hai vaha jake. Those people who are having bad time are aware of their situation too, so, just support them, talk to them, and give them moral support. Lastly, I would say that I opened my own YouTube channel when I was really anxious and low, making content helped me to get out of my bed and do something productive which i can be proud of and have a little appreciation about, so do support me there as well. Thank you.

This was my longest video on YouTube. This was better than any suspense movie. Depression is real u faced at the same time. U both are great couple. Stay in India. India is growing faster now. No need to go to other countries

Thank you @CandidCast for having us on your platform! Dhruv and I really enjoyed the entire session. Also, thank you everyone for all the love, kindness and criticism. We appreciate the feedback but again it was our journey and experiences throughout. Everyone has their own story or somewhat similar to what we shared. We chose what we felt was right at that point of time. We are not spoiled rich kids because we do have a family to feed and debts to repay on our own. It was our hard earned money that we spent not a single penny from parents. Every country has their own pros and cons, be it Canada or India. However, we are grateful for this journey even if it was full of hardships. We learned and moved on. โค๏ธโ˜บ๏ธ

The most entertaining podcast .. the guest couple deserves a special gift ๐ŸŽ hamper. Made for each other couple.. so cute, so innocent especially the caring husband. Their bravery is appreciative that they open up their privacy on the social platform
  • Came to Canada in 2012. Studied hard and worked 3 to 4 jobs to pay tuition fees. We were not allowed to work at all back in 2013. Cash jobs / day jobs and god what we did to survive. We are very well settled now with home and high paid jobs and yet we are moving to india ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ next year. Canada has changed a lot in last few years. It definitely was great country to come to once but no more. My advice to all who are considering to come here , if you are making enough in India please do homework before you come to ensure that this is really what you want. As lot of people said some people have found home here but some people have gone through hell here. All the best to all โค

It was dream come true moment when I received my sowp last year. My wife was already studying in Canada. Did alot of research and hard work to land in Canada and obviously spent alot of money. After spending 9 months and my wife spent 2 years, we realised this is not the place where we want to spend our life. Lot's of heat coming from friends and family, but we are firm on our decision and going back in next month. Take decision wisely and talk to people around you.
