Oh man, Code Veronica is so tough to love. There's some great level design and worldbuilding and then there's Steve.

Outbreak was goated. Way ahead of its time

Revelations 2 is underrated. Its template of modern RE games. Sick pacing, solid gameplay, balanced horror and action, insane replay value, simple story. Love it.

DEAD AIM was my one of the Fav RE game :face-blue-smiling:. played many time during ps2 era and just last month i finished it on PCSX2.

World War Z has the infection feature you mentioned during RE:ORC. ORC is a guilty pleasure of mine as well. It's not good but it's fun. And I even thought that the "good guy" DLC campaign was even more fun than the main game.

Ooo yess some of these spin offs are totally underrated

Most of these are good games. Outbreak 1 and 2 however are masterpieces. When played properly without voice chat and third-party programs. It's an incredible experience like no other. Even decades after it came out there's still nothing that fully replicates the experience. The beautiful set camera with tank controls, the wonderful cast of characters who were not all military and are just regular civilians, special abilities in unique items each character has, unique stage interactions and events each character has, the compelling scenarios, the four player online co-op that does not hold your hand, the bunny suit...I mean... a large amount of custom appearances. I made it a tradition to come back to outbreak every year. Because it's not just another game to me. It's a special experience that took everything I loved from the original Three games and made it better.

Only got around to revelations 1 & 2 last year. They were OK for the price. I am tempted to grab Code Veronica, but I will hold out in case it's the next remake.

I enjoyed the video, although I feel many people will argue Code Veronica and the Revelations games aren't spin offs.

I think Revelations series arent really spin offs. I consider them mainline since Capcom make a full game longer than the original trilogy.

I remember Outbreak. Never could beat it but me and my nephew always enjoyed it. It and Revelations 2. Good times.

Darkside Chronicles' story deserves at least some respect, considering it patches a certain main game's train wreck of a direction

4:04 actually the guncon was developed and made by namco not sony for the Playstation ports of time crisis and they work amazingly in those games
