I forgot she used to sing this way, its so wild and expressive, I kind of missed it. and I realised Lana now sounds more shy than Lana at the beginning.

Before the media killed her stage confidence

Gotta love that Noo Yawk accent... the lady is going to be real big real soon.

her stage presence reminds me of amy winehouse here. no need for anything, minimal set, no dancers nothing. all eyes are on here because she’s so enigmatic. God I wish I could turn back time. I’d pay so much to see Lana at the start of her career.

Wow this looks like it was filmed in the 70s and it sounds amazing live she's so talented
  • I miss these simple yet elegant performances: outfit and hair on point, no dancers, just her band and her voice

I'm out of breath when singing along to this track.

She performs / sings a lot better now.. but idk I kind of prefer when she sang like this, with different voices.. so unique!

still crazy that after all these years she still ends her concerts the same way.
  • I think this song is the most difficult to sing in live. Lana made it.
  • @rainabaileyyy
one of my dream jobs would be a lana impersonator in vegas

I dont know what it is... Her performances aren't crisp but its like listening to pure ART. The rawness of it all mixed with sensuality and passion... its all so beautiful and it feels REAL. ... I'm now a fan.

her voice has so many sounds and layers, it's so strange, but in a good way.
  • @dharmabum717
She was good and all but when the band jammed out at the end.. That shit was awesome

This song is one of her most overlooked and I don't see why. Off To The Races is a stellar performance! For me, I love it because its the most wild of all her songs and I really didn't think she had it in her. It surprised me when I first saw it. Love it.

I love the way she say "I'm your scarlet, starlet, singin' in the garden"
  • Kids 50 years from now will look back at these videos wishing they grew up on Lana Del Rey / saw her during these early performances ...we should all appreciate the queen even if not everyone enjoys this singing style u have to admit it’s way better than the generic shit they have out
