  • As they are NFP organisation they don't have the capacity to give away large sums of money. I think they did a good job at the YMCA to recognise the work done.

The Young Men's Christian Association was founded in London, England, on June 6, 1844, in response to unhealthy social conditions arising in the big cities at the end of the Industrial Revolution (roughly 1750 to 1850). The growth of the railroads and the centralization of commerce and industry brought many rural young men who needed jobs into cities like London. They worked 10 to 12 hours a day, six days a week. Far from home and family, these young men often lived at the workplace. They slept crowded into rooms over the company's shop, a location thought to be safer than London's tenements and streets. Outside the shop, things were bad -- open sewers, pickpockets, thugs, beggars, drunks, lovers for hire, and abandoned children running

My Bucket list is to visit Australia. I was going to be in Australia before Covid hit. Now I do not know if I will live long enough to be able to visit. So I now search for anything I can find about Australia. I really enjoyed watching this show.

I think life in Canada is different from the US.. The standard of living is different so the generosity is more than enough for them.

A lot of my classmates went to YMCA after school.

Iโ€™m from Perth and Iโ€™ve seen some of these organisations and Y knocking about, it gives a good insight into what the company does! ๐Ÿ‘

Don't forget everyone, the YMCA is a charity organisation, so they just give large sums of donors money away!
  • Of all of the under cover boss shows these YMCA staff all earned their reward by their dedication to the work of the YMCA, They definitely earned their rewards through their hard work.

I love how Australians sound like they are singing. The first part of the word is normal then goes high. Love it!
  • ๐Ÿ‘ THUMBS UP for the multi thousands of unpaid volunteers in the world - especially Nick and crew on this occasion. ๐Ÿ‘Ž THUMBS DOWN to the charity bosses in the world, who take ยฃmulti thousand$ for salary.
  • They have so many millions and I hate that they do not help them so much more, I find it an insult

I think what would be a great idea in regards to the graffiti on that whole building would be to get in a good graffiti expert and get them to do a mural on the whole building high enough so someone canโ€™t come along and go over it in the ymca theme, here in Bristol uk when a building has an expert in to have that sort of thing done the other graffiti artists donโ€™t seem to then try n go over it, maybe itโ€™ll work there too?? Just a thought but itโ€™ll save money in the long run and itโ€™ll give local experts in that trade something to do and itโ€™ll brighten up the place as well as detouring other graffiti artists from spoiling it, Iโ€™m glad to see that people whoโ€™ve been in trouble with the law getting a chance to better themselves, ANYWAY back to video I just thought Iโ€™d say what I was thinking before I forgot ๐Ÿ˜‚ Kate ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง xxxx
