and i don't have any phrases i use every single time but my italki tutor went away for a few weeks on vacation with her boyfriend and we just had our first class since she returned (AND since i started your Hero course). She left me feedback for the first time ever and here it is: Excelente clase, Kevin. En esta clase hablaste con mucha confianza y sin apresurarte, también contaste historias más largas y conjugaste muy bien la mayoría de los verbos. Buen trabajo, sigue haciendo lo que estás haciendo.
  • Thank you for signifying the importance of daily life-relevant vocab

what about "tienes leche ?" ........... and you're correct, i found trying to learn tons of vocab at the beginning was useless, and that i needed to stick with learning to speak Spanish and understanding everything i hear, which was a much better use of my time. I'm about to start your subjunctive part of Unit 5 in your course and once I finish the entire unit 5 I'm going to go all the way back to the very beginning and take every quiz again and hand write the questions and put together a nice quiz book of all the quizzes so that i can learn them really well (and cement them in my head). I've been watching movies in spanish with english subtitles turned on in Amazon Prime and that helps just enough to understand a lot of words that i probably wouldn't pick up due to the speed. I do put words i want to remember in Anki though and I'm due to print out my new Anki list and review them, especially since I've been reading a lot of books lately and adding new words i want to learn.April is gonna be my 1 year point of learning Spanish and I'm pretty happy with my progress but won't be satisfied until I'm a native.

I used number 2 the other day! I saw in a show someone said “cochera,” and it looks similar to coche, which is car, and i figured that it would mean garage
  • I learned echarse a perder recently😊. I knew that one. And i knew the others even though i didn't know the words for block and baby bottle. I knew based on the construction of the sentence. So, you're correct. Expressions. Estoy harta. Esto es el colmo. Estoy agobiada🤷🏽‍♀️.
  • Hi daniela do you have italki account or any platform for students who wants to enroll?

I am native English speaker and use double negatives all the time 😂 I speak English fluent but I don’t know the grammar at all. This is why Spanish is so hard for me to grasp 😢
