What We Got Our 9 Kids for Christmas | How We Do Christmas in a Large Family | Large Family

Published 2019-12-18
Today I share with you how we handle Christmas as a large family and what we got our kids for Christmas. Having a large family we had to figure out what worked best for us. Giving the kids 4 gifts each has worked out perfectly as a gift guide for each Christmas.

Looking for good gift ideas to kids? it's hard to go wrong with books while young, especially when you have it themed/custom made into their own personalised childrens books
  • I think for having so many children you were able to get a lot of good gifts for a nice budget price point! I definitely got some ideas for my nieces! Thank you!

Thank you so much! Large family Christmas’ are no joke lol. I bought 5 gifts per kid this year but I think next year I’m moving to four gifts because as they get older it gets more expensive and more difficult. I love seeing what other mom’s buy so I have ideas for birthdays and Christmas. We budget $100 per kid but I can’t seem to fit stockings into that because I refuse to buy junk and tons of candy. Those are usually $30 each! Really gotta work on shrinking that lol

What a generous mama, without breaking the bank,I love looking at all the gifts, thanks for sharing 🌲🌲🌲
  • Thank you for sharing! We have 4 children. Each child gets a surprise and a want. Stockings are “needs.” We tend to do one group gift (we did a zip line last year too)! In general, we spend about $350-400 each Christmas.

It is a lot of work!! I feel you! Had to laugh when you said you bedroom was no longer clean. I just did a Christmas cleaning video... and then my kids came home. Like 1 day later it was done for! Its nice while it lasts!!
  • I loved Janette Oak and Anne of Green Gables when I was young too! Very nice Christmas shopping!
