Best podcast in the business. No angles or agendas. Good job Paul George! You bring a breathe of fresh air in a very crowded space.
  • @EzMoneyMir
Getting Jerry on the pod is such a goated thing to do

Pg is such a good podcast host. Doesnt interrupt, listens, and flows the conversation instead of switching up.

“You tell me when I’m talking too much.” We’re all enjoying your stories chief 🤣🙌🏼 Humble guy
  • @LarrySalamander
I don’t wanna hear anyone say “we should the change the logo” ever again. This man embodies the NBA perfectly and I would choose him to represent our game over anybody in NBA history. A heart of gold, ultimate competitor, humble and hard working all in one. Cheers to the great Jerry West! 🐐

Allowing Jerry West to be Vulnerable on your show was everything. Seemed like he was relieved to just speak in such a room full of amazing energy.
  • @juandelrio7181
Jerry saying he never seen a player like Giannis is a huge compliment from someone who was teammates with Wilt😳
  • @ImBarryScottCSS
Wild af to think Jerry is 85. A testament to staying active and staying present in the modern world, once you fall into the 'it was better in my day' mindset you're done.

It’s crazy how fitting he is to be the logo. Because the story of the NBA can be told through the story of Jerry West. He has been a part of the game making direct impact on the league since the 60s.

Jerry still so sharp and locked in even at this age. You can tell his mind hasn’t lost a step.

“It’s a modern world, grow up!” Greatest judge of talent ever!
  • @sirhoopalot1
Jerry wasn't embellishing about that series against the Baltimore Bullets in 1965, he averaged 46pts, 7 ast, 6 reb. GOAT!
  • @jourdansarpy4935
This interview solidifies to me that Jerry West deserves to be the NBA logo and the NBA should donate a million dollars a year to the charity of his choice to honor his legacy and impact to the game.
  • This is pure experience. He talking about the Philippines in 1972 makes me proud as a Filipino. Perspective and opinions are different depending the experience. You always respect each other opinions. And this old man perspective is a living gem. You can see the respect of the 3 young man in silence while he speaks.

People forget how good Jerry was, man was a walking bucket.
  • @abdi2313
Jerry West is such a pure soul. Couldn’t think of anyone more suited to be the NBA logo

28:20 Jerry West opening up about his upbringing is very fascinating.. everyone has their own story, and with every flawed story is just proof of humanity.. Jerry had to deal with many trials growing up, and him talking about how the death of his brother and abuse from parents made him quiet is something i can relate to.. this is why transparency is important, we all can find ourselves it relate to each other
  • @ericwatson4976
This pod made me understand why jerry is highly regarded in the nba. It isn’t the talent it’s the mentality. He’s a feisty old man I can see him being a hell of a competitor

It's so awesome man to just listen to people who know basketball, having a conversation without anyone getting interrupted. It seems like people in today's society have the impression that they need to complete someone's sentence if they lose a second gathering their thoughts, or the other person doesn't have the patience to let the other guy speak because he wants to express his own ideas as quick as possible. We should all try to listen more to what people have to say, this way we can really understand each other better and i think this is the number 1 reason why today's generation argues so much. Love y'all ❤✌️
