I'm really glad that this series exists because you really delve into the history of hairstyles. In a lot of videos you see people being so focused on staying modern and hip that they insist it's just "inspired" by a certain century, rather than going all in like you do here. It's very creative of you to do this.

When I was in Greece I saw a ton of people with absolutely gorgeous natural curls. So I don't think all Greeks back then had to curl their hair) Great video though!

I love the history aspects of your videos. I only wish they were longer cuz I like them so much: )
  • This hairstyle could be used if you wanted to cosplay as Belle, from Beauty and the Beast!!!

Curls in ancient greek are called "vostrichi". :P These series are just something else!!! Keep up the good work and I hope you visit Greece someday! :)

Had no idea about the hair being used as "handle" during war and that it was a reason for men to shave. Interesting! Also, the Greek-inspired hairstyle is lovely. :)
  • I love all your hair tutorials but that was one of your best tutorial , I love your hair too !!! P.S. I'm Greek and I'm proud of my origin !!! I LOVE GREECE AND I LOVE YOU AND YOUR TUTORIALS !!! πŸ’žπŸ’žπŸ’ž

Beautiful! You should do a hair history on different victorian hair styles! Make a long one!

I wish I had a high crowned head like Loesie. The top of my head is relatively flat, so any second ribbon will just slide off the back of my head.
