If we could get an “I don’t think so Tim” from Dave every couple episodes, that would be cool. 😂

Good silent help is hard to find. But Dave is a great addition.
-

Dave passes the entire check list ✅️ Awesome Beard ✅️ Long Hair ✅️ Super Awesome hat ✅️ A touch on the stout side. It is plain to anyone with eyes, Dave is an amazing genius and is awesome in general ... As is true of anyone who completes that check list.

Fantastic episode! I was entertained by the stunning 'Tool Time' parallels 😂, but I took away some helpful advice for my self-built articulated garden tractor (A.C. "The Chore Handler") that I'm gearing up to build a hydraulic tiller for... thank you for producing and posting!

Dave's hat has Character, Style, makes a statement....The internet would go down if your cat and Dave's hat are in 5he same video...
-
Always nice to have Dave with Tim.
-
Nice video Tim. Very educational and entertaining. You and Dave play off of each other very well. I bet Christy enjoys the break. Thanks
-

Another informative video with Double D.!

Thanks for sharing the crimper deal. It is extremely difficult to get custom hoses for older equipment here. Shops only seem to carry new equipment standard replacement options (and charge an exorbitant amount in the process). I've also been told by multiple shops that their dies won't interface with the DHH hose ends I've brought to them... As a hobby builder, I might not be able to justify the free crimper, but I'm going to look into purchase prices and I'll try to assess the local demand for affordable custom built hoses. I like the potential that the non compressor creates for mobile repair service...

Interesting way you came up with this design. I took my 4044 M to the JD dealership, this is exactly the way that they installed my third function switch, and power beyond. The on off toggle switch was something the dealer could not explain to me very well as to why they put it in. It was the way the directions told him to do it. Your video explained what its useful purpose is. I spent almost $4000 to have the John Deere dealer install my third function, power beyond. So my new question is, how easy is it to install multiple SVC outlets with this set up in place. As an aside, I would also fear a spin off show from Dave. You may want to consider a new costume, perhaps a set of suspenders that had one green and one red or a Crocodile Dundee hat for yourself.

If I correctly understand the way you wired this, it should work as intended, but it also creates the possibility of inadvertently operating both switches at once, potentially with opposite polarities. I realize you're only switching the positive side here, and in this particular case, the valve doesn't seem to care, but supplying power to both sides of the valve at once might cause damage, depending on the design. A better, if slightly more complicated, solution would be to use a 3 position switch, or relay design, inline with the original switch, that would, when set to a latched on position, interrupt power to the momentary switch, eliminating the possibility of both being 'On' at the same time.

You both make the videos look interesting.
