Your steel looks like my first one...a Baldwin Sho-Bud crossover model. I wish I could have kept it though. The tone it had was unique and unforgettable, and there's nothing prettier than an old Sho-Bud in blonde birdseye maple finish!

I got started by sticking a metal rod under my electric guitar strings. Many hours and dollars later l have a D10 pedal steel. Music in retirement: great as long as you have it.
