This is fascinating and touching at once. Rick's voice and calm delivery holds the listener in anticipation of wanting to know what is next. I grew up in Michigan, so we did learn a little about the native people, but as I am now approaching 68, I appreciate the stories so much more. Thanks to all who contributed to this wonderful adventure of knowledge! ✌️♥️ Mark

I'm very thankful for this video it's very informative. I'm an enrolled member of LCO (proud Granddaughter of Robert and Hazel Gouge') and this was extremely educational as well as entertaining and I've been sharing it with my son and my niece and my mother who lives there currently and is a Tribal Elder. I'm sure she's never seen this either and I was more than glad to pass this on to her. .Chi- Miigwech. This is definitely one video that I truly truly appreciate thank you so much for the time and effort.

Glad a ran across this. I have been doing some family history work and found a claim that one of my ancestors was Chipawa/Ojiwe living close to Eu Clare Wisconsin. The little research I have come across points me to this being who their tribe would have been. I do not claim to be Native but I love learning things about those who came before me.

Thank you for the story. I came through Wisconsin back in 2014 on my way to Minnesota and love it. Feels like home and turns out my ancestors lived there once. I would like to plan a trip to their gravesites to pay my respects.
  • Thanks a lot, for let me to know this interesting story and its traditions.
