Late April 2024 Oregon Morel On Mt Hood 2500ft

First trip of the year in late April, starting at 2500 feet elevation and found a good patch of morel that still growing.

    In about 1953, my military father moved us to Portland. One day after about 3 months, the clouds cleared, the sun came out, we looked out our apartment window, and Wow! There was massive, beautiful Mount Hood.

    Yes and we're getting more rain here in the Willamette Valley so there should be more

    Yakfish.....You should always go into the wood's with a minimum of 1 other person for safety reason's. The wood's can be deceiving the naked eye. Every year people get lost or go missing W/out a trace for unknown reasons. I"m an avid hiker all throughout the State of Wa and 1 time I experienced something only by experience you would believe!! Be safe out there and keep the video's coming.
