how to approach Nisargadatta Maharaj's teaching - Eric Baret

Published 2024-04-13
Read the text, put down the book, and live with the feeling, the vibration, the space. Live with whatever comes to you. What you read is the pretext, it's not important. Don't conclude, don't say, "Oh, that's Maharaj's teaching." You read it, then you let it die.

This was an exellent teaching; slowing down the reading, allowing the essence, or the perfume, of the text to sit within; and then that is the intrepretation that becomes me. 🙏
  • not compare rilke to shelley est traduit par les sous titres automatique par : on peut pas comparer le riz et la cerise, on peut pas faire plus poétique et vrai à la fois. Que c'est bon d'écouter cet homme si simple et juste. thank you les vieux tapis

also it was stated that in the video that "you cannot be a boxer and specialist in boxing." this is a wrong statement altogether. i think eric meant something else. the truth is you must be a boxer to be a specialist in boxing.

i know the brahmins of khetwad area. i'm live 30 mins away from maharaj's house. it was stated in the video that brahmins near maharaj were very strict and won't let some of maharaj's tabooic words to be included in books. this is plain wrong. bcoz only free flexible brahmins not caught in tradition can sit near maharaj and take him as a guru. bcoz maharaj was chain smoker and meat eater and also belonging to lower caste. these parameter's can make even a not so strict brahmin to not sit near maharaj. forget about taking him as an enlightened guru.
