The best thing about the OG face was that it matched the Spider-Man/Peter Parker character in that world. Peter is an older, more experienced and mature Spider-Man. He’s been doing this for a while and they didn’t just show it with his superhero ability and knowhow, but you actually see it in his face, he actually looks like he’s in his mid-20s (25-26). The 2020 face made him look so much younger and different (like Tom Holland) (20-22) which was a little jarring. And it diminished his older mentor look a little bit.

Remaster Peter looks fine to me, he looks likes he's in his early 20s in 2018 and mid 20s in spiderman 2. Og Peter looks like he is pushing 30s in 2018

I love how everyone magically started loving the old face once they changed it. I genuinely didn’t hear a single person liking the face they went with when spiderman originally released.
