I LISTENED TO THIS IN 81 & I AM STILL LISTENING TO THIS MASTERPIECE IN 2020! WHO ELSE IS WITH ME?

Randy's guitar mixed with Ozzy's voice is literally something out of this world.

Saw diary of a mad man in Minneapolis about a month later randy was killed in Florida, I remember watching randy play this title track and saying to myself this fuckin guy is light years a head of the rest, he owned it, true talent, we will never know what could have been, what a loss....

These first 2 solo albums by Ozzy with of course Rhoads, Kerslake & Daisley were and are cemented in time as MASTERPIECES of metal forever. RiP Randy & Lee 🤘🏻👍🏻
  • As a guitarist of 35 years this man was amazing well before his years I still study this man's guitar to this day
  • 36 years later and that solo and ending riff with the backing choir still, to this day, gives me chills. If there is a canon for heavy metal songs, this most certainly belongs in it.
  • When the strings come in toward the middle and end, it just sends you to another world. Randy was a compositional master.

RIP Mr. Lee Kerslake, for whom without his talents on this album or this era of Ozzy would not have ever existed... Godspeed to you sir!

"The lyrics and melody are invincible! RIP Randy!"

The tone on this song! Not just the guitar.....on everything! The reverb and the use of proper acoustics is just phenomenal. One of the greatest hard rock/metal songs of all time....truly legendary!!! RIP Randy.

I had the HONOR to meet OZZY in 83 while working as a stage hand here in my town and I've met alot of people but honestly Ozzy was prob the most gracious and friendly of all of them.
  • @bellametallica
I could listen to the end of this song 100 times in a row and still not get tired of it.
