I think a better moment in "Fight Club" that indicated we were being tricked is the fact that The Narrator answered a call from Durden on a pay phone with a small sign that said "No Incoming Calls Allowed."

Firstly, my favorite horror comedy is Zombieland, no questions asked. Secondly, Midsommer is a direct and blatant rip of The Wicker Man (1973 original with Christopher Lee) so the plot and the ending were already spoiled by a better movie made in 1973.

My favorite horror comedy: "Antibirth". It's darkly hilarious but also gross and anxiety inducing at times, and I don't want to spoil it but the ending was absolute cosmic madness. 10/10, definitely underrated ❤❤❤

One problem , the Ace Hardwear store where the confrontation between Graysmith and Allen take place , was torn down before the movie was even filmed. And the bridge (The Napa River Bridge) we see in the beginning, the fireworks would have been off to the right of the bridge , not to the north of it in 1969.

Zodiac, one of the greatest films ever made. Definitely in the top 3 Jake Gyllenhaal films.
