Can a 15 Year Old Sony PSP Run Minecraft?

Wow, that actually looks amazing. This would legit be the reason I'd buy a PSP. I've already played and 100% completed Minecraft for the PS Vita, which is awesome, but seeing Minecraft run on the PSP is truly something else.

An 11 minute video, and bro only spends less than 1 MINUTE playing minecraft on psp, at the END of the video...

The sound of a PSP starting a game up will ALWAYS send a chill down my spine. There was a time when there were 3 PSPs in my household, So it was VERY common to hear that sound. And to this day it just reminds me of better times. Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, Metal gear Peace Walker, Sims 2, so many bangers.

The corrupt app stuff is because you used Mac, when copying files to an external device on Mac it creates hidden metadata files which when mounted on other systems like windows or in your case a PSP those systems don’t know what to do with it and because it’s so similar to the original files it will then display as corrupt

this is really nostalgic for me i remember playing this version on school, unfortunately my psp is broken :\, but is really cool this psp version of minecraft, its so well made i think if mojang really release a minecraft version for psp will be exactly like that one, there is also one version called fromage that are made for ps1 i recomend taking a look at this version too (sorry for the bad english, i am brasilian and im still learning english)

Pro Tip: some games like GTA can have pretty bad performance. Thats because they run on a lower clock speed to save battery. In fact, the first years Sony allowed games to use only about a third of the maximum supported clock speed before later unlocking it's full potential via updates. On you Jailbroken Device you can hold shift in the home menu and bring up a menu that allows you to force all games to use the maximum clock speed. This greatly improved GTAs performance for me. It's also completely save, you're not overclocking, you're just using the maximum official speed that the PSP supports. Only downside is the battery goes down faster so you should't do this on the go

I know Minecraft exists for the 3DS, but that version of the game is so weird you have to play it for yourself, it's like a weird mix of the legacy console edition, the old bedrock edition, and java edition all rolled into one

Here in Germany a PSP 3000 costs €30 (44.74 Australian dollars) and you can pick it up locally if you want. In general, everything that has to do with older consoles is cheaper here in Germany, which I don't understand, but it is what it 😅

my dad found an old psp 3001 from somewhere in boxes (since we were moving in) a few months ago, and it's been by me wherever i go in the house since. There isn't even a battery in it. It's just so satisfying to press everything and figure out all the things to it. Can't wait to buy a new battery and actually play on it
