Who it's For: Microsoft Project is professional level software made for project managers, resource managers, team leads, and anyone who is given the task of planning and running a project that is too big for “I’ll just knock it out.”

What it is: MS Project is a structure-based project planning, running, and tracking software tool. It is the most popular project management tool. Microsoft Project students will learn how to plan projects of any scope, small to large.

What You'll Learn: People who learn MS Project start from the ground level and learn how to build a phase-based work breakdown structure, apply durations, constraints, resources, and how to track the project while it runs. You’ll learn tricks, tips, and how to modify Microsoft Project to fit your needs and work style.

Absolutely excellent tutorial. Interacts with viewer and prompts practice throughout and then provides not how to but includes valuable tips. Interesting though that you suggest using constraints when some folks hate and disavow them.
  • I am a Planner for 12 years and I will certainly recommend this training to anybody starting to learn MSP - Well done!
  • Excellent presentation here! I would agree with the other comments that inserting a bit of humour into a presentation goes a long, long way. I could listen to this guy all day and his instruction is crystal clear.

I am a Student at Devry, accounting major, at age 51. I just started a new class, Project Manager class. The opening instruction, gives us access to MS Project. I found your video, and spend the last 24 hours watching your video. Thank you going slow, and clear. I learned so much, of a program i had never heard of before thank you
  • I would definitely pay David "500$" an hour to teach this class. It is very informative, just right amount of info and entertaining as well. I am pretty sure David does stand up on the side. And that works well for him...and for the learners!
