  • Thanks for taking us along. Great edit also! ((Considering taking on Flex as we speak, this content is proving very helpful))

If you see some of the deliveries are going to be awkward or too far away just don't deliver them, don't even attempt them, turn your Internet off as mark as at location or can't find address and it will let you make it as undelivered even if you ain't near the property. Saves you hassle and damage to your car, take them back to the depot and you still get paid
  • @ADHDGamingme
Ive just signed up - i wont be taking any base rates! People need to just stand together and not do £8 hour base rate may as well deliver pizzas ha ha Thanks for advice
  • @robbell4511
Totally agree with the theory but if no one accepts base rates amazon will just take more drivers on to compensate. The ideal scenario is just enough people taking base rates so it doesnt make it difficult picking up an enhanced rate.

I do Amazon flex in Birmingham and honestly I don’t think it’s too bad here. On average if I get a 4 hour block I get paid anywhere from £68 - £60. And I’ve done many of them in the past month and non of them I worked more than 2 hours for each of them I honestly think it’s all based on what area u deliver in. For my Birmingham works well. On average I’ve been getting £320+ weekly that’s with fuel and insurance costs, and for all the shifts I can do them in half the time it says
  • Also you haven't accounted for the mileage you can claim back. 45p/mile
  • @doma5262
you probably think some people can afford to turn down work, some other person will accept at the base rate anyways
  • Even at base rate I'll get at least £25 an hour because you can easily knock an hour off the block time.

How do you know what parcel didn’t get received by the customer? I’ve got some in my standing details but no idea how to see the details of it
  • @MikeLarcombe
Thank you sir! Great info this. I will try avoid the base rates!
  • Hi there. I just watched your Flex YouTube video. When it comes to working out your financials at the end, you are failing to add a claimable expense. You are failing to claim/deduct 45 pence for each mile you drove on that block. Therefore, 0.45 x 68 miles = £30.60 - deduct the £30.60 from the £49.50 = £18.90 minus 20% tax to pay of £3.78 You can also deduct mobile phone usage/car cleaning also which will reduce overall tax. Best you do some online research. Good luck & best wishes.
  • On other day I don't a shift for 3.5 hours. Got 48 parcel in 48 location. Took me 4.5 hours so I done 1 hour extra. After that I decided never to do 3.5 hour or 4 hour shift. It is not worth it at all. Takes longer than the given time, high mileage, also they send me though hills, jungles farms like you showed on this video.
  • @thepamo2812
Can you link the the spreadsheet you mention in one of your flex vids cheers
  • @djwynny
trying to get on amazon flex.just eat.deliveroo etc but no shifts. got on with uber eats and my van broke down on the first day haha been borrowing my dads bmw x5 40d for the last few days think iv spent more on fuel than iv been paid lol
  • Out of interest does it help drivers to select one of the compliment settings after a delivery? I normally do this but wonder if I am wasting my time or not?
  • if you dont take base rate, they'll take more people on that will accept base rate, you cant win
  • I bought a ford fiesta st 3 doors, can I still do amazonflex with this car? I'm very interested but I know there is a rule for small cars 😢
  • @garyflint9295
Surely they are breaking the law when mum wage is 11 plus ?
  • @thetoad7367
Cant think of anything worse than doing 35 parcels in this, bro i do 300 in that daily hahaha its awful isn't it
