Is it worth it? - Stuart Semple Paint Review

Published 2023-05-09
Trying some of Stuart Semple's paints, and wanted to bring y'all along! In this video, we will swatch a few of the paints....Mirror paint, some of the metallic colors, and the pearlescent Unicorn Milk...to see if they are worth their price tag. Join me to see if they are, or at least my opinion! :)

Wow, beautiful colors and shine!!! I especially love the copper! Thanks for sharing these. 🙂
  • Oh wow! I’m so impressed that I can get this stuff in the uk too! I can my bank account crying 😂
  • I know this video is almost a year old, so this might not be relevant still, but oil based paints that say to clean with mineral spirits can normally be cleaned with warm water and soap too. This is at least true for oil paints and I'm assuming the mirror is a form of an oil paint. Dish soap is just fine and it will hopefully save you from killing a brush and also mean you can clean the brush without harsh chemicals. I just ordered from Culture Hustle. Did it take a long time to get your order? I placed 2 orders back to back and one has the 4 heavy mental paints you got and also the new blackest black paint. These were shipped about a week later and have arrived. I also ordered the unicorn paint and a couple of other items and it's been a month so far and it isn't shipped yet. It's very frustrating. I considered getting the mirror paint too, but I'd add to cart and then be told it was sold out.
  • Love that shine! You totally need an airbrush. Takes some practice but with your skill set, you will do just fine.
  • That mirror swatch is now, literally the most expensive swatch you own, lol. You're deffo gonna need an airbrush. Don't cheap out either. Buy a nice one, and learn how to use it. You'll be fine with it. I don't believe in buying the cheapest thing first because your results will be skewed by the lack of quality of your equipment. On top of which, if you discover you don't like it/aren't good with it, ya can't sell a bargain one whereas you can sell a top of the line one to comp some of your loss. P.S. I need a circular saw, and orbital sander so I can rebuild the decks, LOL. P.S.S. Don't be afraid to mention the price. There's no NDA on it, and people will want to know without having to look for it. Just make sure to use a disclaimer so people don't have to buy new keyboards from spitting their coffee all over it when they hear it, LOL.
