I was bitter man, about fifty years old, but Frances and Ed change my sad life by "arming" it in Dream.... So if God gives health, in the late summer I will fulfill my dream and see Bramasole with my beloved wife... Greetings from Wroclaw (Poland).

While I wasn't a fan of the movie, aside from the beautiful scenery, I have owned 3 copies of the original book. I read them until they fell apart. Now, i have 2. One copy in my kitchen in a place of pride waiting on my counter and the other in my livingroom. They sing. They inspire day dreams. They encourage cooking for friends and family. They give me a peaceful mind. Love them. This video is simply wonderful. Thank you so much.
  • Have had the honour of staying in Cortona many times. What a beautiful, romantic, cultured town. From waking up to the ringing of the church bells to eating the local produce, its heaven on earth.

One of my MOST Favorite movies & books of All time! I've never been to Italy, but It's ALWAYS been a dream of mine. I Love everything I've ever known & seen & am automatically drawn to Italian things instinctively. I must be Italian in my soul. The Beauty, community, purity, open markets,Art & way of life serms so naturally familiar to me. It's my dream. Im saddened the possibility exists that I may not get to realize my #1 dream. I used to dream about living in an old stone farm house where I could garden, cook, make olive oil,do my Art,photography & write. Thankyou for sharing this story. You are very talented,& have been Truely Blessed. May you & yours be safe & Well🙏💕
  • I was in Tuscany in 2015 and went to Cortona by train. I really intended to see the things I could read in Frances' first book. I talked with a girl at the station cafe and she told us that Frances goes there frequently but I wasn't so lucky at see her anywhere. In fact we had just one day in Cortona and there were so many Americans there that I think is because of Frances. Now I'm reading the second book and love the film!!! I'm a professor and a teacher in Brazil like Frances and I teach reading like her, also. Sometimes I envy Frances because she is American, Brazilian people aren't so well treated in Italy. But my vacation there, that 2015 July (we rented an apartament in Florence) was the most beautiful in my life!!!! I'm Frances fan!

  • Wonderful video! Always enjoy learning more about Frances, Ed, Bramasole and Cortona. They really have done so much for the town. She deserved the citizenship. I have watch Under the Tuscan Sun many times... a sweet movie to watch in these troubling times in the US.

After reading your book for several times l have a dream. I want to go to Cortana and look at your beautiful house. Thank you for your book and my dream.
  • This is a rare case wherein the film is a bit more understated than the reality, at least where the villa is involved.

Can't get enough volume to hear this. Sadly. Crazy about the movie. Anyone else?
  • @anneh.127
This is wonderful but I can hardly hear them speak and the music overshadows Francis M.
