"You just can't help being naughty." - Darth Maul

I am studying this sequence as Darth Maul using the duel bladed saber and I can see why Nick says it's Kendo as a lot of the sparing is very much like Kendo

WOW... Ive never thought about it before, but lightsabers are pure kendo, with a touch of fencing.

Damn did Ray take a swing to the face by accident? He had a black eye when he was training with Ewan. Those guys were so dedicated

Ray Park did all of his own stunts. All of those flips, butterfly twists and fight sequences were all Ray Park. No stunt double. He was a WuShu champion in the 90s. Ewan and Liam on the other hand, were heavily doubled.

10:39 funniest shit ever. He’s laughing and then he realizes the boss is RIGHT BEHIND HIM and clams up immediately.

The duals came a long way between 1977-99. Definitely the best sequence in Episode I.

Keep forgetting Ray Park also played Toad in the Live Action X-Men 2000 Film
