Lyrics:
We found a house with a yard
And moved all of my things in
And most of your things in.
And honey I was proud of it.
Honey I was proud of you.

You quote the Good Book
When it's convenient
But you don't have the sense
No you don't have the sense
To tie your tangled tongue.
Instead you're slashing through the mud.

Some boxes, that
Hand-me-down couch and chair
That used to be at your church
We borrowed them from there.
A cabinet, record player with nothing but James Taylor,
Tore the carpets from the corners to put in that hardwood floor.
I'd be a fool to have asked for more...

You quote the Good Book
When it's convenient
But you don't have the sense
No you don't have the sense
To tie your tangled tongue.
Instead you're slashing through the mud.

You quote the Good Book
When it's convenient
But you don't have the sense
No you don't have the sense
To tie your tangled tongue.
Instead you're slashing through the mud.

The love you had was good enough
The past that we were stuck between
Beside myself i stopped to think,
Oh Lord, what have I done?

You quote the Good Book
When it's convenient
But you don't have the sense
No you don't have the sense
To tie your tangled tongue.
Instead you're slashing through the mud.

You quote the Good Book
When it's convenient
But you don't have the sense
No you don't have the sense
To tie your tangled tongue.
Instead you're slashing through the mud.

This is an absolute masterpiece holy shit. I come back to this video time and time again and it hasn't gotten old in the past 13 years one bit

when we are in rough times and alone we always listen to Taking Back Sunday's song to remind us that we still need to live.

Taking Back Sunday would have never done arrangements this creative and interesting if it was not for Matt Fazzi. The bands he came from inspired this, I dont care what anyone says. It came out swell, though :)

i will never see how new again was a "step back", with this song, sink into me, carpathia, and money where my mouth is... how is that a step back?

Shoutout to the band keeping it on tempo even when the crowd claps way off time
  • i like how though its more mellow you can still sense the same amount of intensity in his voice
  • This song holds so much emotion. I definitely prefer this over the album version. I can definitely understand where he's coming from. && his voice is amazing.

Taking back Sunday are one of those epic and amazing bands that are not as famous as they should be
  • This is such a great concert. The atmosphere is hard to beat, wish I was there.
  • My wife walked down the aisle to the intro of this song for our wedding. ❤ Thank you TBS. That was 2020 and we have a beautiful healthy daughter.

The violin at the beginning is so haunting.

I really loved new again. I think it just took people a little bit to appreciate it because it was a bit different than their previous stuff. But it really is a great album.

I love how Adam is trying to conduct and act like it isn't rehearsed
