    There's no escaping the fact that they are offering an almost certain death sentence. These prisoners will be used for the most dangerous missions. They are either desperate, stupid or both.

    I'm guessing almost all the released prisoners know A) They'll never see a single ruple and 2) they're never going to survive for 6 months?

    Right, prisoners are let out and know Russia may not even pay . Definitely won't let them go after 6 months , their in for the duration and even then it may be back to prison. Put them on the front line and they're leaving. A quick escape. I'm surprised they don't all sign up knowing their just going to run away when they get there.
