DI Alec Hardy - People Help The People

DI Hardy is one of those characters that makes me go "If anything happens to this man, I will kill everyone in this room, including myself." I'm so glad he and DS Miller got the ending they both deserve. They're both such kind people that got stuck in such a sticky situation.

By the means of this edit I can feel all his pain, all the moments he was all alone, sacrificing himself to others without people even noticing it. Like, he has become a helping hand for this town, for Latimers, for Ellie, and for some reason they couldn’t see it. I think, only by the end of the first season, Ellie was the only person who could finally see it, while others were just pushing this helping hand away or, conversely, grabbing it without seeing who it came from. It’s a strong work, made me cry. Thank you so much.

I especially liked 3:24 when you just finish seeing scenes supporting how ill he is, and the song comes back on and you see scenes where he picks himself up and forces himself back into 'helping people' mode. As the lyrics come back on. Especially the sleeve being pulled on (I don't know why but it goes SUPER well with the music).  <3 it!

is it just me or is hardy a work of art like broadchurch is so much more realistic compared to doctor who and it gives you an idea on how someone like him reacts towards murder congrats chris

Greatest thriller/ drama I've ever seen in a long time! I love the characters relationship and the mystery of the show of who really did kill Danny was just unbelievable! I'm almost done with the series I'm on season 3 last two episodes! I love DI Harding and Ellie Miller I hope they make more, even though this was the final season, but you never know! Now I want to see more of these two actors!

God that is so beautiful. Really shows how he's just trying to help, even with his gruff and grumpy exterior, hell he literally got heart arrhythmia because he took that burden, a burden he felt he had to take just to help, even if he shouldn't have he did it anyway. Wonderful job showing off one of my favorite characters.
