  • People need to realize Diary of a Madman, arguably the greatest rock and metal album ever written, that Lee, Bob and Randy really carried that album, Ozzy could not even come up or get some of the melodies so Lee jumped in. It was a collaborative album among lee, Bob and Randy and that is why Darth Hideous firing Lee and Bob was just a colossal mistake, the band was on the path to being one of the greatest ever. The third album would have been insane.
  • @LLtigers
Darth Hideous is the reason for what happened to the " Blizzard of OZZ band. What a shame on her part . RIP , Randy & Lee ❤

Lee and the whole band signed my Blizzard of Ozz album at one of the in store signing sessions Bob spoke of . I've been a drummer for over 40 years now so it was a huge deal for me to meet Lee when I was 17 years old ( I'd already seen him play incredibly well live twice with Uriah Heep by then ) . I saw 3 Blizzard of Ozz shows on the first UK tour . Newcastle City Hall , Newcastle Mayfair and also Sunderland Mayfair . Lee's performances showcased some of the greatest feel drenched high energy rock playing that I've ever witnessed before or since ( I've seen them all ) ... Great memories .

My friend since school is Anth 'Tony' Dennis. Ozzys personal assistant for about 30 years. Darth Hideous sacked him on a whim with no severance pay. Kicked out the door without a bean. Vile woman.

I watched that lee kerslake doc. Last year I believe ! It was very good! He was due those albums ! ⚡️space ace Ron ⚡️
  • 3:07 demo version of I Don’t Know! Wow! That is a cool little riff Randy threw in there! I really hope we get to hear all of Bob’s Holy Grail tapes of Randy one day. Ozzy and Sharon and Jack saying the quality is poor is such a lie. They were going to put it in the box set so they clearly knew fans would love it. Great interviews! Thanks so much for doing these. Long live the band Blizzard Of Ozz.. RIP Randy and Lee.

I heard that Sharon even wanted Lee off Diary and pressured Max to take his tracks off and threatened Max. Max held his guns.

Ive seen/ heard over a thousand shows( music, inc local open mic/ punk etc) the Blizzard concert at Sheas Buffalo was the most incredible thing ive ever witnessed, easily. And i was only 13. Damn.
  • Met Lee when we opened for Heep in NZ years ago,had a few beers with him and Mick.Awesome friendly dude, loved his style and impressive bvs.And Bobs book says he was quite the jovial singer after a few too.His live drumming on various versions of Easy Livn is just the bomb!onya, respect indeed.
  • @Mike-aka747
One quote will always stick with me about Ozzy(Sharon).. “I highly doubt very much, Ozzy could carry a tune even if you put a radio in his suitcase” 😂😂
  • Lee and Bob sound great in Uriah Heep post Diary of a Madman albums, Lee a huge part of the Uriah Heep success in the 70s. What a band Blizzard of ozz was.........F Sharon
  • @bobhalford
How could Sharon fire Lee? The intro to Over The Mountain is incredible, classic. The lineup never should have changed. Ozzy said in an interview at the time how he always wanted Aldridge as his drummer so that's why Lee was let go. After you make two classic albums with one lineup, what is the sense in changing it?
  • He shouldn't have ever had to wait for those platinum records all those years.
  • @Aristotelezz
I hope someday someone makes a real documentary about Lee Kerslake...
  • @cjjaxxon
Now just realizing he was the drummer in Uriah Heep I got a solo from him I think from when they were live at Shepherton Studios.
