i havent seen any reacting channel think of this but when sayo (the girl how survive) tell what happend she said " he was a monster " and "he kill them" but she never say that it was gyomei, she didn't say "sensei kill them"... she probably was so young that she didn't know what to call that demon

All that stuff around Muzan was wisteria. If he was any other demon, it would have killed him. But because he’s the demon king, the first demon, and the most powerful, it won’t kill him. Also, that kid should’ve just went in the house!! The wisteria would’ve killed the damn demon!

Actually, that boy who led demon to the house to save himself didn't die. After he survived, he was probably taken by Zenitsu's sensei. He was there in season 1 ep 17 in Zenitsu's backstory.

you can only kill a demon with something imbued with wisteria flowers(like nichirin swords); hence why he was pounding the demons head till sunrise or else it would just keep regenerating. i also read that the smoke/mist constantly around muzan was to signify him crossing the wisteria barrier/ buring with little to no effect from the smoke cus hes regen is that strong
