1. Occupy our spiritual space with something else.
2. Having bad theology.
3. If you having to quantify and qualify everything.
God loves to stretch us and put us into places that activate our faith. He leads us into places we wouldn't normally go. God is a mystery and you will not fully understand in this lifetime, but you will know Him. When you fully depend on God even when you don't understand, this is when you will start to hear Him more.
If you are having trouble in any of these 3 areas, ask the Holy Spirit to help you make the change or adjustment.

If we wait and try to here Gods voice without reading His word, you are most likely to get deceived by another voice which will not be God. The best way to hear from God is to spend time reading his word. The Holy Spirit will remind you of a bible scripture when you need it. Learn what is in the bible if what ever someone is teaching you that is not in the word the Holy Spirit will remind you also. So we must spend time reading the word so Jesus can wash us with His word. God does speak but it always lines up with his word. The Lord spoke to my heart this year which lines up with his word. He showed me to pray always. He used peter in the bible when Jesus told peter to pray and not fall asleep and then peter attack the servant with the knife. Jesus put that example to pray always. If someone is teaching something new and its causing you to strive and its drawing you away from reading the word I would pray and ask God to help you and give you discernment..

Gods speaks everyday to us if you read His word. Read your Bible people. The word is what corrects wrong thinking. He teaches us that’s why He gave us the Holy Spirit. Our guide etc…
