“Markus Persson”, now that’s a name I haven’t heard for a loooong time
  • It's EXTREMELY refreshing hearing Vu talk in a calm tone, rather than with all the hype he usually has to put in for MC Monthly

This might sound corny or whatever, but Jeb is one of my biggest heroes. Hearing him speak candidly like this about the game's history is a treasure. It was fun hearing Dinnerbone mentioned as well, Nathan also had a big impact on me.
  • Minecraft actually acknowledging Notch's existence? Also, in episode 3 of this series, they say "Adding anything is super complex, it needs to fit into the ecosystem" in context to the mob vote, but if that's the case, why give 3 options? Either all 3 are already planned to fit in the game, or they give options that they know will not fit

I honestly wish C418's music was in this. It would have been perfect for the nostalgia factor.
  • @RaysWorks
I stumbled upon this game 15 years ago and still play it almost everyday! 😀

Something feels wrong about not playing a C418 track over the clip of Minecraft's release. Nothing wrong with the new music, just the C418 tracks are an important part of the legacy of the game,
  • These calmer and more laid back videos are what I love to watch. The majority of videos feel like a giant multiplayer server with all these games and things to do, just a lot going on, but this feels like a small survival server you started with a group of buddies. Love the vibe

This game was my whole childhood, and I will always have it in my heart no matter how old I am. I can't wait to share this game with my future children.

The soundtrack makes me just feel nostalgic during this video. One thing that never gets older from Minecraft will be the wonderful background soundtracks.

This is such a genuinely great way to celebrate this. No over the top fanfare or forced scripted enthusiasm. Just having these Mojang employees sit and think about and talk about the game and how its evolved and what it means to them.

Jeb deserves his board games to win the MOB Vote after all of this years

This game was a huge part of my life, thank you Minecraft for being in my and my little brother's childhood.

4:32 "The update you took over" sounds so menacing but all I can imagine is Jens in chest boat

Thanks markus, thanks jens and thanks to everyone who has worked on minecraft and mojang!
  • Tack för allt! Markus skapade något fantastiskt, och ni har fortsatt i hans spår. Kommer aldrig glömma dessa 10 år jag spelat och framförallt inte de minnen vi skapat.
  • @Cygnus_MC
Such a great look back! Thank you for this!!
  • This might honestly be my favourite Minecraft video so far. I like their general style, but this one feels, quite simply, genuine.
