Needless to say you can watch the video and tell me what you think but for me there's better snow removal methods out there that's for sure.
Are you used about 3 gallons of fuel for my run, definitely not a cost-effective way to remove Snow either..lol.
This engine is making about 70 lb of thrust and I ran jet a fuel.
I did have an idea where I can mount this jet engine to my machine and drive around clearing snow, however I don't want to do that yet simply because I need this engine to stay in good condition for my upcoming episodes.

I was wondering if you could use an aerosol can as a cheap substitute to nitrous oxide. Not exactly sure what kind, just something that wont make the engine get gummed up easily (mosquito repellent maybe?) Love your vids btw.

I can only imagine what the neighbors are thinking as they hear and then see a jet engine attempting to blow snow towards their garage door. lol.
-
Neighbors be like: dayumn did someone just turn their ps4 on
-
Me: "do your neighbours say anything about the noise?" Warped Perception : "they say nothing because they've all moved"

The insulating properties of snow are phenomenal. It’s one of nature’s perfect ablative materials. You’d have decent cutting ability if it was your jet engine vs. ice, but snow… snow’s a beast at resisting melting.

Next: Using jet engine as a hair dryer

There are airport runway snow blowers using old MiG jet engines in Russia.

As soon as he lifted the garage door I thought “well that’s gonna be a lot of water” and yup.
-
Wow, the amount of thrust that comes out of that little thing is amazing! 😳
-
why this video has no views i mean he use f*cking jet engine
-
Normal peoples neighbors: Turn off the vacuum cleaner! WPs neighbors: Turn off the jet engine!

I fully realize that it is still early. Really though, this will likely be the best example of quarantine syndrome for the entire day. I love this video. Well done boredom breaker. Now I have to figure out how to build something like this with what I have at home. hahaha
-
Moral of the story: Jet engines only double the work for you to remove snow and clean up the mess
-
"No officer, I was just using my snow blower. Not sure what loud jet engine noise the neighbors heard..."
-
I have have had this exact senario as a idea in my head for YEARS Huge tank you for filming this, now i know what would hapend

After the Blizzards of 2015 buried everything in Boston, MA, the subway trains grounded to a halt from tracks and third rail getting covered in snow. They rolled out a huge jet engine on tracks to try melting or blasting the snow away. It didn't work. The poor commuters in Quincy and Braintree had to use the shuttle busses for almost a month. Nice thoughtful video.

I was not expecting that much power. That was impressive
-
The neighbors are like, I moved away from the airport to get away from the sound of jet engines and this guy builds a jet engine in his garage. 🤣 Cool video!
