Colin didn't lie, he didn't court Penelope Featherington. He skipped that step altogether 😂
  • @hali_55
“THINGS ESCALATED SO QUICKLY” should’ve been the actual title of the episode 😭
  • @dananbell
Hahaha! I love the "What was that face? I did not like that face!" My dudes. Trust me, that face is fairly accurate. You all think you look suave in those moments. You all look like this. Thankfully, we think it looks hot when you've lost your mind enough to not put on the suave mask. That being said, watching your reactions has been great!
  • Colin is so down bad, that’s what that facial expression was 🤣🤌🏻
  • @Artistely
20:15 People, do you understand how rude and improper Colin's move was? I was in TOTAL SHOCK. Stealing someone else's dancing partner but IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SONG, AT DANCE FLOOR? Colin is WILD
  • @meganlynn83
"You better FIX THIS before we have to wait a month." I swear I said the same thing. 😂
  • @LiaRaye
Watching 3 dudes get hype over the plot of a romance show is the best. Also, props to Rob for saying he likes 2 good men being interested in Penelope. Loved that comment.
  • @NoelMartinezR
that face colin did after penelope touched his hair... a LOT of us really liked it. that face has tiktok and twitter screaming and crying, doing cartwheels.

I love that over and over in the carriage scene he’s asking for consent. Even just to get in the carriage. But every step he stops and waits for her to nod. Good active consent representation.

Rob getting mad at Colin, and saying he has to fix this with Penelope before we have to wait a month is so real.
  • @MajaZaguan
The way Colin fixed Penelope's dress without touching it with all fingers, sheesh 😩
  • @IndieCindy3
25:15 guys, that look on Colin's face was **EVERYTHING**! That is deep love and passion and I love that they showed it coming from him. He was in awe of her and the fact that she was finally touching him (that it wasn't a mere dream). She, too, was clearly fulfilling what was likely a long-held desire to run her hands through his hair. That was a wish fulfillment for the both of them. I assure you a majority of women would love it if their man made that facial expression.

Not the main point of the episodes but I love Violet Bridgerton’s look when she sees one of her kids falling in love. Last episode with Colin asking about love and friendship, this episode when she sees Francesca playing the revised melody. The joy she gets from seeing her babies happy just warms my heart ❤
  • i kept hearing FOR MONTHS about some carriage scene that happens in the book, so as soon as Colin opened that door, i knew what was about to go down, but i still wasn't FULLY prepared for that😭🤭
  • @emilybanks5055
Perfect example of the female gaze. Love the face he makes when she grabs his hair!! 😂
  • @victoriak1866
Y’all saying you dont like how Colin made that face when Pen touched his hair meanwhile girls everywhere screaming over it lol guys just dont get it 😂😂😂
  • Only correction I’d make to your reaction is that when Debling tells Penelope that he’s happy she has such a full life while they are dancing, she’s not thinking he’s just so nice, she’s questioning whether she could be happy with a life without love. Penelope grew up reading romance novels, she’s always dreamed of finding a passionate love and now she’s asking herself if a life of platonic companionship, financial security and an escape from her mom will be enough to satisfy her. I mean the man just told her that he doesn’t think he’ll ever grow to love her because his work means too much to him. He’s nice, and certainly it’s a desirable outcome for the time, but it’s hardly an exciting prospect if you dream of love.
