at 1:01 I thought for a split second that he was going to whip some out of his pocket

This is actually a reasonable discussion and debate. Nice to see these two able to do that. I am normally expect them to be snarling in a situation like this.
-
All politicians have to ask themseleves is why binge drinking exists in the first place...
-
I do enjoy watching Farage talk about anything other than Brexit.
-
Farage is correct in that the modern Tory party only believe in one thing - tax cuts for the already rich. Although he is wrong about the smoking ban, it has been a huge success. What is killing the pub trade, is not the smoking ban, but cheap as water alcohol from the supermarkets.
-
Why are people saying Campbell lost this? It was an extremely intellectual and well reasoned discussion that Campbell was just an interviewer.
-
The microphone wasn't plugged in
-
Nigel, you didnt come out the other end controlling your alcoholism, as is evident by your views.
-
They are forgetting the biggest element. Making people responsible for their own actions. People can get absolutely smashed, and go into hospital and waste time, resources and money.
-
Takes a pretty talented politician to play Campbell like a finely tuned grand piano!
-
Nice to see someone interview Nigel for a change without all the swiping and snarling he gets from the BBC/C4 etc.
-
How pissed is Alastiair Campbell!!
-
It seems odd that Alastair Campbell would get on well with Nigel Farage. I don't think Alcohol is a culture problem, but Binge Drinking and it's effect on crime and health is a major issue.
-
Has anyone ever completed research aimed at measuring the amount of pleasure given to people by alcohol? It would be stupid to create a pricing structure that would punish poor people. Much better to trust families and schools to educate children on how to enjoy alcohol without detriment to their health.
-
Surprised they are not quaffing the commons subsidised bar
-
Their both sitting very close to eachother.
-
Looks like Alistair has pulled...good luck mate, its all legal now...
-
Young people drink excessively because to escape the realities and pressures of a system that can not function. Give young people true opportunities and constructive outlets,
-
Good little chat, I liked it!
