Saying "He crit me" when Urshifu does his thing is truly peak comedy

Taunt forcing the Sucker Punch hit was amazing.
  • This is a great way to prepare us for the emotional roller coaster that will be the Worlds video…

That one guy who did Protect Rage Powder was playing 5D chess with multiverse time travel while we’re all playing checkers

For some people, Regulation D has proved hard to “bear”.
  • Hi Wolf, I was your opponent in round 6 and I was really happy to get to play you, the whole match was an awesome experience, good games! The reason why I went for surging strikes and not aqua jet in game 3 was because my urshifu was 252 hp/212 spdef and it was made to take dazzling gleam from a specs flutter mane from full hp, so I thought it likely would have taken the hit at that range and decided to go for that move. We also met at the wcs this year, hopefully we will meet again in Hawaii!

Home update has really created a bear-rier between players
  • @StickMaster500
The hardest opponent in this tourament is the camera man filming the battle
  • @arafzaman760
21:55 it was egregious to see urshifu annihilate iron hands, That just proves why urshifu is the number1 mon of this format
  • @steezuskryst7201
That play where you did that move with the Pokémon was such a good attack
  • @joho4430
I think gyrados is gonna be really really good in this format for it’s bulky intimidate that natively resists water and fighting. Only issue is that it kabooms to hisuian arcanine

“Pokemon home has brought a tirade of f changes with some players complaining of the overwhelming power of ursaluna, me personally I don’t see a problem with it-“ -player right before getting demolished by an ursaluna
  • @Gamandizer
Live wo-chien reaction still lives rent free in my head
  • Got distracted because the camera messed up. Almost throws the game. Still manages to put opponent into a position that hard position which causes them to lose the game. World champ diff right there.

Interestingly, his last set was vs Michaelderbeste, one of the finalists this WCS 2023, and he was already using a team close to what he used in the world championships 54:26

"I'm either faster or they're thunderbolting" I love the pure acceptance of "Either this works... or I'm dead"😂
  • @BloodNothinglol
Ah yes Thundurus/Tornadus being meta, gives me 2012/2013 vibes
