Arknights Why you should get into Nicheknights

Yay, another nicheknights video! Honestly, I think the beauty of nicheknights is that "so long as you have a defined and consistent rule set, anything goes". It's a good way to both make Arknights more challenging and fun to play and still get to use your waifu/husbando/favorite character. And you can turn it on and off as you like, so if a stage gets too frustrating, just smash it with meta, lol.

I spend an unhealthy amount of time thinking about nicheknights, so here are some ideas: Letterknights: operator names start with the same letter (ex. K-Knights, one of my personal favorites) Colorknights: operators with the same color of hair (ex. Pinknights, Purpleknights, Redknights) Outfitknights: operators with outfits from the same collection (ex. Coral Coast) Monthknights: operators with the same birthday month (ex. Octoberknights, played by FrozenSnowcone7) Stealthknights: operators who use camouflage or invisibility Siblingknights: operators who have an operator sibling Crossbowknights: operators who use crossbows Standardization: operators with ‘standardization’-type factory base skills Unlimited: non-limited operators introduced in limited banners Dodgeknights: operators with dodge or resist in their kit

Been doing 5* niche but thought of a niche where you only use the rarest archetype in a class. Reaper-liberator guards, agent vanguard, fortress, duelist, juggernaut defenders, blast casters, flinger snipers, sacrificial specialist, artificer supporter, incantation medic.

I can't possibly imagine doing nicheknights for AT LEAST another year or so, and I'm a paying player. I only started in September so while I do have quite a nice roster developed so far, I still have very few characters relative to the whole roster to choose from.

I've been doing this more and more over the years. It also takes some load off to know, you have stronger operators to fall back on, if you really struggle with a stage. Usually I have a look at the PVs and other infos for any new event and fill my squad with more lore accurate operators. Then I fill out the rest with related operators. For Dorothy's Vision for example, I plan on using a Rhine Lab centred team: Saria, Ifrit, Magallan, Silence, Ptilopsis, Mayer but also including related ops like Astesia, Kafka or Pinecone. Plus of course any new operators for the trust farm bonus. Once all stages have been beaten with the niche squad, I redo the auto-deploys of the farmable stages with an actual optimized squad for speed- & trustfarming.

as a newer player, I'm still trying to get ops to clear new events and such.. but I'd really like to go into maleknights- it's got the perfect blend of balans ops + absolute copium operators * coughs in no marksmen snipers for maleknights above 3 star *

I've been doing Vulpoknights and it's been fun. Downside is I'm missing Suzuran, Angelina, and Chiave so which has made things more difficult, but I'm still able to clear a surprising amount of stages with them. I might go for Lupoknights next, though the lack of a medic is slightly worrying.

I play both Abyssalknights on Main and Feline/Catknights on my Alt As much as Abyssalknights are overpowered the fun factor comes in how my synergy the four Abyssals have but still really like playing Abyssalknights.(Note: Can't wait for the Alter rule to be omitted making Abyssal Hunters even more broken XD) As for Catknights since I don't have certain operators like SIlverAsh, Mountain and Blaze, I found some major weaknesses Catknights have with my current squad such as Block Count and general DPS, BUT actually successfully completing with my Catknights def gave me a sense I'm knowing my Cat squad way more and just showing how flexible Arknights itself can be.

My preferred niche is dragonknights (lungs, vouvires, dracos and the suiblings), however I’ve been really enjoying kaziknights (any current knights or people who were knights in the lore) but I also use the followers because the lack of healing is too much for me. Wolf knights would be my third niche, but until the Siracusa event I’m still missing like half the units. I honestly can’t pick which to focus. Was pretty devoted to dragons, but started enjoying the other ones aswell and now I have 3 unfinished teams

I already found my niche, which is Columbiaknights. Basically, i use operators that are born from Columbia. That includes those that are affiliated with different factions. Example: Passenger, Ptilopsis, Saria, Franka, etc

I am doing "GangKnights" So I am using Ops from the Glasgow Gang, Chiave's Gang and the Siracusian mafia. Also Red and Lunacub bc I made the rules and thought having fangs included would be cool.

I'm trying to get Purifier Hibiscus, Meteorite and W to start the Sarkazknights niche on my own, since my favorite units are sarkaz

I recently started Reptile ops, i cleared all of TC with them( challenge modes included), i didnt have time for the final stages challenge mode tho, so i will do that in the future. They are well balanced imo, aside from the fact that you only have 2 options for ops without 3 block, Eunectes and Blacknights summon, this was a bother when i wanted to leak those running junkmen so it can run to the other side in TC-7.

PICK CATS JOIN ME But seriously yeah, you have a great point with regarding making the gameplay experience more interesting/learning more about the game itself!

Currently building my Sarkaz niche (got R18 on CC9 with them, pretty nice) and planning to get W from Texalter's spark shop. Since we'll be bombarded with many Lupo operators in Il Siracusano, i'll play Lupo niche too.

I started doing Kjeragknights a few months ago because I wanted to get into a niche and I already use the Kjerag operators frequently. I'm still not that good at it, but I'm still able to clear a lot regardless.

I actually went for a Pink-hair only Nicheknights. It's a very few character selection so I can't really use it on majority of the stages but when it works it's very fun to play, best achievements I was able to do so far is Clear IS2 Ending 3(No Pozy because I did it prior to her release), CC9 Risk 19 Week 2, Failed IS Ending 4(Failed boss stage, so close tho) The team is does not have any blockers on the team so any stage that has invisibility or needs a long stalling is impossible to clear, I tried using it for CC10 but it's impossible even at Risk 0. Team: Blue Poison(Main reason why I went for this Nicheknights) Golden Glow Ambriel Kirara Ceylon Pudding and the newest addition of Pozemka I plan to try out other teams as well like Rhine Lab(surprisingly I have all of them), Abyssal Hunter, Aegir, AZling.

i got so inspired by these kinds of challenge videos that i wanted to try my own nicheknights: Chefknights, where I use operators who can canonically cook (i.e. Gummy, Hung) i have yet to clear any hard stages with a kind of roster like that, but im working on it :D

My niche is trustknight. Who is new or not max trust will be use and oh boy how I thought arknight mats is hard to farm when i literally dumped every single mats on my ops
