I've watched this short film before but I'll have to admit it irks me and it's painful to watch Black business men having to walk on egg shells to close deals and to see them so disrespected by such ignorant and evil, racist, people.

I know a man who grew up in a poor neighborhood. He got a scholarship to go to one of the most prestigious high schools in the country and he intentionally made friends with rich kids to get to their parents. He started cutting grass and doing odd jobs after school and on the weekends for these kids’ parents, until he got some much business that he hired his friends from his neighbourhood to help out. By the time he graduated high school he had amassed a clientele of the most rich and influential people in the country, I’m talking governors, Forbes CEOs and brokers etc. Bro is in college now doing internships are blue chip companies.

And yet they are still continuing these lending practices today through redline lending. Banks are denying POC loans in certain areas but will offer you a loan if you buy in an area that they allow you to. I know it happened to me. Fortunately, I had enough to pay cash and was able to pick the house I wanted. Not the house the bank would allow me to purchase through redline lending!

To think some fools actually had the audacity to say this was never a Racist Country!
