Anyone else now wants to go outside or camping!?

This video is worth it's weight in gold

8:50 My dad's Army-issued manual says that in cold weather environments, you can melt the snow by putting it in a plastic bag and putting the bag in an inner pocket while on the move. Any body heat you might give off will melt the snow too.

Good video. I'm Ex Special Forces and used to teach survival for many years after I left. All these pointers are really good, well done. One thing to note many people will use ferns as bedding, not a good idea as they give of cyanide gas when crushed, not enough to kill you, but your get one hell of a headache

i actually did make a cup of tea and watched this

Who's here watching in 2024?

Alfie, I love your shows. They are quick and to the point. Since I suffer from attention deficit disorder, your lightening-fast bits of advise keep my attention just long enough to sink in. I learn and retain a lot of info that way. Your tips are valuable and appreciated. Thank you. Sylvia

"so a stubborn animal doesn't go running off with it's new hat" lmfao....

'Good tips... And I love how you correct Bear Gryll's nonsense and give a nod to Cody Lundin, who actually knows what he's doing! Thanks!
-
This is better than any outdoorsman video I've ever seen so rich in information
-
Super serious video and than suddently "HIGH LEVELS OF SWAG, RIGHT THERE". Nailed it!
-
dude, you need to make a book! One of the best channels on YT
-
You know what, Alfie... Your videos look like you had loads of fun making them, and although they are packed with extremely useful stuff, they seem so easily-made and carefree. That's why they are so much fun to watch. But I and a lot of people here know how much work and thinking they took and we totally appreciate it. Thanks a lot.

With the Birch Bark shavings, have some duck tape or gorilla tape and put the shavings on that to prevent the wind from blowing the shavings away. The tape is also flammable so you get a two for one. I like the pencil sharpener, I have that one in my fire kit as well. Take a pencil with you if you can't find any twigs to fit into the sharpener.

I want to be next to you in case of a zombie apocalypse 😂

For those of us whom have forgotten what we learned in scouting, this was good advice. well done sir!
-
I like that a lot of them were basically "you can light this thing on fire" 😁

As a former call of duty solider and survivalist from both fallout and S.T.A.L.K.E.R, I can say that the best thing to do in an emergence situation is to level up as much as possible and steal everything, if that doesn't help, you'll just respawn, so no big deal.
