5 Mistakes Players Make in Drifting Games!

We're gonna look at top 5 mistakes that new players make in drifting games. New players tend to use the grippiest drift setups, but faster is not better, it's not a race. Horrible wheel fitment, tinted windows and random stickers all over the cars. Colored smoke is also bad for the other drifters behind you. Fast money methods or glitches remove the excitement of unlocking new upgrades or cars. Getting a new drift car should feel rewarding. Overall accidents and crashes that could have been easily avoided with resetting your car or paying attention to your surrounding. You should also use manual transmission to drift, not use automatic - for more car control and easier drifting later on.

being behind a coloured smoke car is like having a big black monke jumping on your face

I laughed when he said "hello kitty cloud"
  • YES!! Manual transmission is better because if you're drifting you don't want to spin out because of your high rpm that is not needed.

Even being a newer drifter I’ve always preferred to go a bit slower and focus on angle and getting as close the the outside as possible. But someone is always ramming into my door or pushing me out of the way. Started to question my skills but you cleared that up right away!! 😁

I agree with all these except the styling. Just as you said “enjoy the journey, this goes for every game” everyone’s entitled to their own customization no matter how stupid it looks but I see your point of view and I personally agree with you. There’s a time and a room for those wack builds 😂

This isn't really a noob thing, but leaving your car in the middle of the track when you are afk.

I feel like a lot of people in assetto corsa go for the slidey setups when they first start. it's what I did at first since a lot of mod cars come with the street tires as default but I feel like you can drift a lot better with the more grippy competition tires on a lot of cars/tracks.

"Some of the excitements you had - fades away" Damn

goosiest I agree with everything, but I who am a player with a lot of experience on carx can assure you that the grip setting must be put to the maximum, trust me, of course you must have all the rest of the setup done well, because if you only put the ultimate and the grip at 120% and that's it, in that case I agree with you ... the best car x players in the world use the grip to the maximum, on every car, none excluded, if you use it because you want to make the car slide more , I give you some advice, maximum grip and stiffness settings a: 60% front, 100% rear, and you will see that the car glides perfectly! greetings from Italy 🇮🇹 (pad player 🙃)

If your on wheel you should use 120% adhesion in the front and 90% in the back it makes turning on wheel and throwing 360s way easier
