LYRICS:

Listen, let me tell you a mystery.
We shall not all sleep, but we'll all be changed.
In a moment, in a twinkle of an eye.
At the last trump, the trumpet shall sound,
and the dead shall be raised incorruptible
and we shall be changed. We shall be changed.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption,
and this mortal must put on immortality.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption,
and this mortal shall have put on immortality,
then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, "Death is swallowed up in victory".
We shall be changed.

Oh death, where is your sting?
Oh grave, where is your victory?

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1 Thessalonians 4:17
  • I sang with Sis. Kitty Parham for many years. This song took me back to some very wonderful years! Oh how I miss her. So good to know that one day soon, those that are in Christ Jesus will be changed from immortal to immortality in a twinkling of an eye!
  • I just landed in a black church and I feel at home, it would be amazing to be in heaven I wonder how we will dance ,clap and worship knowing there is no more sorrow, and pain. I can't wait .shalom

My God. This song just took me in. I feel like I'm back in the old COGIC church with the wooden floors. We shouted every Sunday. 🙌🏾🔥
  • Nobody could sing this song better than Kitty Parham!!! This was her signature hit!!!
  • Lord, the old songs of the church never died. They have meaning and express the Glory of the Lord with WORDS we can understand. This is one of my favorites from a child and constantly reminded us that this world is not our home. My how the saints would rejoice, dance, and Yes we shall be changed!
