I think that it's really impressive how this show managed to successfully mimic all of the classic shows of their respective eras. They even got Dick Van Dyke on board as a sitcom consultant, and Julie Bowen adored the "Modern Family" parody! ♥️
  • Watching Elizabeth Olsen and Evan Peters acting together in the MCU is both strange and satisfying
  • @samstern2042
Elizabeth Olson's acting in the fourth wall break episode was like Julie Bowen's on Modern Family

You know I actually relate to Wanda finding comfort watching sitcoms I watched Malcolm In The Middle and Everybody Hates Chris when I was feeling down and needed a good laugh.
  • @KLK1618
Once Upon a Time- No one is really allowed to enter or leave Westview, just like Storybrooke.
  • @bailisinha6412
Elizabeth Olsen nailed the Claire Dunphy impersonation.❤️
  • @RumbleBee1102
Not to mention all the episodes are titled with tv production phrases. "Now in colour" "Breaking the 4th wall" "The series finale"
  • @Ironmat98
I love sitcoms and marvel, wandavision is everything I love

The scene when Wanda, Vision, and the kids were surrounded by Agata, the other Vision, and the military was kinda similar to The Incredibles fight scene in the forest

I’m just happy that Vision got his memories back and he will be back. Just like Wanda said: We’ll say hello again 😭❤️

Elizabeth Olsen deserves an Emmy for her work on this show and sadly due to the way the awards are voted on has almost no chance of getting one. It is hard to fit the show into either comedy or drama and the votes are based on one specific episode the actors (and their teams) chose to submit with. You really can't appreciate how wonderful her work is based off of just one episode.

There are a few more. Like the babies being 'born' looking four months old, clean and without the need to cut the cord. Also the tendency for TV kids getting rapidly aged up. Then there is the feel in the early episodes where everything wrapped up neatly by the time the credits roll...even if it really seems like things shouldn't be that pat.

WandaVision is gonna be a pop culture reference ´cause what is grief if not love persevering ?
  • I got my mom to watch the show with me so I explained all the comic book stuff to her and she explained all the sitcoms to me and I loved when we got to modern family
  • In the newst episode wanda hits agness with a car and we see her shoes under the car which is reference to the wizard of oz
  • @camilolozano81
My favorite pop reference was the use of a philosophical thought experiment to further the plot, just like they did often in one of the great comedies of the last decade: The Good Place
  • Wait how could yall not do the malcolm in the middle reference!? That was the best one to me!
  • Another pop culture reference that everyone seems to be missing: episodes 2 & 3 the dining room is nearly a 1 to 1 lift from the Bewitched dining room. Complete with the fresco painted on the wall off to the left. The shutters across the breakfast bar and the matching dining room table and chairs.
