Lyrics:
Go get what you want
Get hip to the signs and then you
Get lost in your thoughts
Just trying to prove, what’s with you?

Now, and again
The times I’ve tried to
Bow, and amend
The far and the fake, look sunlights fadin’

How can you say this is not for debatin’
Ah, how can you say that you’ve got no problems
I can’t be fake, when you're up and elated,
How, how can I say that you’ve got no problems too

Now tell me what’s wrong
There’s something behind your grinning
Been waiting too long
The show startin’ soon,
Head’s spinning ‘round
Not again
The times I’ve tried to
Bow, and amend
The far and the fake, look sunlights fadin’

How can you say this is not for debatin’
Ah, how can you say that you’ve got no problems
I can’t be fake, when you're up and elated,
How, how can I say that you’ve got no problems
I, I can’t take this, it’s not debated
Ah, how can you say that you’ve got no problems

How can you say this is not for debatin’
Ah, how can you say that you’ve got no problems
I can’t be fake, when you're up and elated,
How, how can I say that you’ve got no problems too

That I’ve got no problems too

  • Can we take a minute to admire the COMMITMENT to the late 70’s/early 80’s aesthetic? Please Ginger Root, give us a behind the scenes. I’m dying to see how you put this all together.

I have never seen Bruce Wayene and Batman in the same room, But I have seen City Slicker and Ginger Root in the same hallway at 1:07
  • @Bosco_Woo
We are so sad to see you leave. I'm glad I bumped into you in the hallway 1:07 to bid you a final farewell. We at Juban TV wish you the best on your next endeavors. /s

Loved that Evangelion reference at 2:22 GINGER ROON LORETTA FINALE: One hit wonder
  • @yagi6381
3:47 when you can see all the plushies in the background there's a Dr Simi that I gave him!!!!! Aaaaahhhhh!!! I love this song, can't wait to see what's next (I was so excited for the movie too 😭🤟

    彼は80年代の日本の雰囲気、空気感を日本人よりも理解していると思います。
  • I also really appreciate that this actually LOOKS like it was filmed in the late 80s/early 90s and nothing is overly detailed. (Huge pet peeve of mine when movies try this style but everything’s still way too detailed compared to how it was back then)
  • @mallbat
i actually screamed out loud when it zoomed out to reveal a miniature set
  • @grahamykins
I left my job of 5 years literally today. This music video helped me realize I can still pursue my goals independently.
  • @mgy754
    生まれた時代も場所も違うのに、こんなに80年代の日本の空気を再現できるんですね👍✨
  • @haydenbsiegel
"You can't just go around making things just for fun. It's a business.. show business.", damn good way to put that.
  • @JimmyChen-fh5wh
Still feel proud and excited ever since the Mahjong Room album. It's so magical seeing the growth of Ginger Root. Please come back to San Francisco & Taiwan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • the quirky DIY aesthetic of the ending, feels very faithful to the era you’re trying to emulate. so many movies at that time had gadgets and devices and home-made contraptions. seeing that same concept referenced here (whether intentional or not), really felt authentic. loved it !!
  • @mpr5906
    旧メンバー引き続きでホッとしたし、コントに進化してる😂好きすぎます。宇宙で会およの次回作も気になる。曲もまた期待を裏切らずポップで軽快で大好き。待ってて良かったーーー!
  • @FleaLictor
Using a miniature city for the driving montages was creatively gold! Definitely looking forward to this album and loving how you put stories into it.
  • @crammedtaxicab
never in my life have i ever wanted 18 hours to pass by so quickly
