“Sometimes the riff is so fucking good, that you want to hear it over and over again. Sometimes for 52 minutes.”

"Money's Paper. I wipe my ass with paper. I's not that essential to my Soul" - Matt Pike. Probably the greatest thing I've ever heard!

Al Cisneros' bass tone is responsible for moving the Earth's tectonic plates.

As someone living in a whirlpool of depression and other bullshit, anytime I see Matt Pike, that all disappears. It makes me so happy to live in the same time as him. God luck and good speed, my man. Keep on truckin’ Mr. Pike!

This documentary kinda changed my life and entire outlook as a musician. The reality is SO many of my heros still have to work in between tours and that is totally OK and normal. Just start a band, write and perform. Thats all that matters
  • It's insane that some of the best musicians of the past 30 years are broke.

The fact that someone held up a John Fahey record in a documentary about Doom/Stoner Metal just makes me happy on so many levels.
  • Sleep is single handedly responsible for the movement of earths tectonic plates

“Sometimes the riff is just so fucking good that you just want to hear it over and over and over again... sometimes for 52 minutes ... ya know” I fucking know... I know.

Acid bath is one of the most original of all these bands. Louisiana swamp Doom Death Roll

this should be on a non stop loop in all museums.

This needs more Melvins and Eyehategod. Acid bath too.
  • Electric Wizard are a good band. I can't get enough of Stoner metal, Doom metal and Sludge metal.
  • I saw Pentagram in LA (2011) when Bobby announced that the band was celebrating it's 40th year.  That is what I call the definition of HEAVY.
