    Technoblade never dies
  • The idea of Techno just running around various lands, freeing them from whatever tyranny that holds them down is such a great one that I'm gonna hold onto. Rest in Peace to that amazing man. Also, just plain amazing video. I don't watch the main videos of the Dream SMP, but this has me entirely captivated by the story of it.

The homage to Techno was just absolutely amazing. Thank you, I liked that ending quite well, and I am sure he would have to.

46:24 Slimecicle is so well written from what is initially a goofy sidekick to Quackity. He's exactly what would happen if something so pure and innocent got taken into this world. An immortal being, who didn't understand why the people did what they did. So he played along, became a blank slate to understand humanity better. In the end, he finally learnt all about it from the most human person on the server... Quackity reaped EXACTLY what he had sowed in Charlie. Beautifully written and an amazing end to the Last Nevadas arc. Technoblade would've been proud.

When he announced that it was only 53 minutes and would cover everything from the jailbreak to the end of Las Nevadas, I was worried about pacing, and how he would fit all that story into less than an hour. All things considered, I think everything is done well. Looking forward to seeing how he does the finale.

34:59 Ah, the skyblock quote. I'll always remember it. He's done/doing his best to repay us tenfold for the love we always gave him. I'll be sure to return it a hundred times over. Rest in peace, Techno. I'll never forget you.

Man I really miss techno ngl the Minecraft community isn't the same without him Rest in peace king Technoblade never dies
  • @MaggieFox45
Although Dream’s lack of empathy for Ranboo is heartbreaking, it’s also a prime example of what a good villain he is.
  • 34:58 i cried here... a tribute not only to his first skyblock video. but a farewell well given long live the king, may you rest easy... and may your battle with god be legendary and known across the realms.
  • Despite being from a Minecraft server, this was one of the most powerful stories of the time. I will never forget these streams, full of adrenaline and funny quotes and bloopers and tears. Technoblade never dies.
  • @mikeyy7328
This was our Marvel Endgame, the entire SMP series was just insane. Especially the times where Techno monologues, it was so crazy and fun to watch everyone’s reaction to things.
  • Technoblade’s Segment got me in tears that was a great finale for “The Blade” Thank You Evan for making this
  • Me 2 years ago would never believe me if I said I’ve cried, felt every emotion just with some people playing a video game. But truly, this story strikes me in the heart. I don’t have to time to follow the streams but your videos allow me to follow, I can not wait for the next part. I have been here since part 5, and I will continue to be here until the end. Your videos are outstanding, thank you for the effort you put in.

God, using the skyblock line as the end of Techno’s arc hurt in so many ways. The last several years truly have ended up all about legacy, haven’t they? The legacy of the server, of the people, of the fans, the stories, the memories. Legacy is all you leave behind in the world. It is planting seeds in a garden you… never get to see. It is the impact you have, the people you inspire, the ones who remember you long after you are gone. These last few years… they started with a pandemic, with the world in chaos. And they built up a legacy I don’t think anyone will ever forget. We’ll be telling this story for years to come. And isn’t that just the most amazing thing?

While the SMP basically died, the times when it was alive were... pretty good to say the least. For me the members are all amazing, Dream himself makes a good villain (even with the often odd moments outside of the SMP); Overall this revived Minecraft alongside Pewdiepie playing a while back, and I'm proud to see the modern equivalent of my childhood seen in this light. Also HELL amazing effort on the video, Evan. Keep it up. :>
