"Concern" is just another word for a large business conglomerate.
  • WE'RE MAKING THE TRUE LOVE WITH THIS ONE 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
  • Capcom vs SNK 2 was FIRE.....LITERALLY. The intro showed many flames, the character select, versus & win screens showed flames, the Osaka secret boss stage was up in flames.

I remember the old aomori video you made. I'm glad you made a video with all the stages and the details along with the cameos you mentioned. It is so cool to look at!

Fun fact about the Osaka Stage song on the rooftop. It was a very popular song sample that was used from 1995 to the early 2000's from various games, animes and tv shows. Capcom in particular used it in Resident Evil Code Veronica and Devil May Cry 1. Most notable people remember it from Cowboy Bebop episode 11.What a great video!

They've nailed it with the broadcast network motif, as if this crossover is such a historic event that it needs to be documented and broadcast on TV, like the Olympics.
  • A Capcom vs SNK collection is going to come. If a Marvel vs Capcom collection can happen the same can happen for the Capcom vs SNK games

Little bit of a fun detail about the rapping in the New York stage theme: It's a song from a sample CD that was also sampled in Sonic Adventure, during the "Goin' Down" Skyscraper section of Speed Highway
  • @Toast_Points
Fun fact about Osaka's music: It sounds like Lei Wulong's arcade theme from Tekken 3 because they both sampled their guitar part from the same song: Steam by East 17

Not Baberuthless’ s fault but CVS2’s art direction unfortunately suffers visually from the transition to HD displays, both in the case of the playable 2D characters overlayed on 3D backgrounds, as well as background details such as the different layers of the Chinese restaurant, which blended much better on CRT screens, even at 480p. Personally, I preferred the direction, game-related themes and plentiful cameos of CVS1’s stages, but CVS2 does have very dynamic stages that made good use of the Naomi/Dreamcast architecture to spice up the graphics compared to pure 3D competitors. I am pretty sure the rally cars and dunes in the Kenya stage are visually based on the Paris-Dakar race – which makes no sense both geographically and visually in relation to the actual Kenya Safari Rally but, given how African representation was still handled back then, we probably avoided way worse… Great video as always. Would love to see a video on the stages of SNK vs Capcom Match of the Millenium for the NGPC!
  • That CvS2 transition effect came out fire. Fantastic work, as always!
  • The final stage & boss Osaka stages give off vibes from the final battle scene from the Lion King: 1. Osaka Arena: dark clouds 2. Osaka Castle Rooftop: lightning storm 3. Osaka Burning City: fire engulfing the area Also, both Rugal & Scar have injured eyes & animal minions. Rugal had his pet panther whike the disney villain Scar had hyenas. The final battle against Rugal takes place on top of Osaka castle like how the final battle against Scar takes place on top of Pride Rock

❤ YOU'RE MAKING THE TRUE LOVE WITH THIS VIDEO ❤️ FUN FACT: 16:23 The rap sample in the background of the New York stage "Stimulation" is from Masterbits Clímax 6 - RAPsody (Vocals 2) titled "On a Mission"
  • "Honey wake up, Baberuthless just dropped another half hour video talking about fighting game stages!"
  • "The cameos are FANTASTIC, i wish we have more of these, since seeing Elena do normal things like... WEARING PANTS!"

Awww yeah, you're covering one of my all-time favorite games! Coming from someone who's been playing games for 40 years and was a reviewer for 20, that's not something I say lightly. I've posted tons of trivia on GameFAQs over the years, including several for this game. 28:24 Fun fact: The Osaka Castle roof theme was actually first used (that's currently known, anyway) in Cowboy Bebop, specifically Episode 11: Toys In The Attic. It plays when Faye Valentine collapses. When I played the stage for the first time back in the day, I was so surprised to hear the song again. Someone on Capcom's staff had a penchant for using Napster (hence why a Brazilian radio ad for beer was accidentally added in the option menu of the first Capcom VS SNK), so they must have gotten into some file sharing shenanigans for this song as well.

Musically speaking my top tracks from CVS2 are: 1) Stimulation (NYC stage) 2) This is True Love Makin' (London stage) 3) Wipe Out (Osaka Stadium stage) 4) Wicked Fight (Shanghai stage) Great job in illustrating the visuals and music from this game, it was amazing.

The Ikari Warriors are a HUGE missed opportunity in this game!
