Please subscribe for more! Today we are looking at my first amazon purchase of a motorcycle and I don't regret it. This is the predecessor of the "Venom X22R", but this one has Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI). Also it has a 6 speed tranny and a close look to the Ninja 300 (13-17). Please watch the video to learn more!

One thing I don't see enough riders doing is to rev-match the downshifts. Simply blip the throttle as you've pulled in the clutch, downshift, and when done correctly, your RPMs will match the lower gear. It's less wear on the entire drivetrain (inc the clutch), and frankly, it's just the correct way to use all manual trannys.

I recommend starting all fasteners by hand before tightening with any power tool.

I was learning on chinese 250 cc bike and mine was also a pain in the ass to put in neutral from 1st but from 2nd to neutral was way better. Dont forget to brake in new tires for first 120 miles even when its hot outside brand new tires are slippery!

Great review! Thanks! I have been riding since the early 70's and have a Harley now. But that is not how I started! My first real bike was a 72 Yamaha 200 twin cylinder two stroke with similar issues seen here. What the previous generation of bikers taught me was that they are machines and as such are not perfect. If one buys a motorcycle, that is your bike now. Instead of whining about it's imperfections, get to know your bike by riding it and fixing or making adjustments accordingly until it runs as it should for WHAT IT IS. Your imperfect review, and you admitted it so at the end of the video, still actually told me most everything I wanted to know about the bike, so don't be afraid to do more of these. Those of us who have ridden for a while understand and appreciate the effort! Despite the perceived anomalies, this appears to be a great beginner bike for someone willing to look after it or a superb kick around bike. Anyway, thanks for the review!

saw it at amazon and came to ytube if someone bought the bike.. u r the first videos.. love the video, thankx forur time and commenting about the bike and showing to us..
  • I actually prefer a sensitive clutch. I hate when a bike won’t start to move until the clutch is almost fully released.

The 1st YouTube unboxing and review vid!!! Dope. I was looking into this joint.
  • Fantastic bike for the low price! But absolutely a MUST to change out that Chinese factory oil for good oil! Glad to see you did that lol.

I bought the same bike just red on Amazon..!! I love it I did a few things to it and it is FAST for a 250cc it's a sweet lil bike for the price I got a cop buddy lol to hit it with his radar gun and to see if the spdeo was working ..!! Mine was spot on brother I love mine I also got the curser 250cc bike off Amazon and it's geared definitely and it's a lil bit faster than the sports bike either way I love both

ok one thing you should always connect the positive first==because if wile connecting the positive your tool hits the frame of the bike or car or what ever or any other place on the bike there is no short or spark and if positive is connected first then when connecting the negative the only way you can create a short is by your tool hitting the positive terminal on the other side of the battery not the frame or other parts of the bike == but if you connect the negative first then when you are connecting the positive you can create a short with your wrench by your wrench touching any mettle part of the bike or car or thing the battery is in and the negative post on the battery ..in other words your odds are allot less that you will short something and burn things up :-) also synthetic oil is only needed if you run a extrema high temp situation like a turbo application so any name brand conventional 10w40 will give you just as good of protection for half the cost as any synthetic.

This looks and sounds just like the Russi 250 efi 6 speed which just came out in the Philippines. It seems to have the same mechanical issues as the basic retro Russi 250. Not bad for the price though, but a little maintenance intensive. Have fun with all the mods and upgrades you will want to do.

If anyone is wondering what this bike is a copy of. It is a direct outside copy of the Ninja 300. The inside is different but most of the parts for the outside of a Ninja 300 will fit on this bike. When I first saw it I can't believe how similar it is to a ninja 300. My first bike is a Ninja 300.

So I have the kpm 200 and yes it has a break in period. It's very easy for me to go from 1st to neutral but I learned on a bike that was harder so maybe I haven't noticed. Make sure to change the oil pretty much immediately. The air box also can be modified.
  • Negative should always be first to disconnect, last to connect. The reason you don’t connect Negative first is because it will provide a path to ground through the frame and everything else while you are working on the Positive terminal. While working on the Positive terminal your tool could short on the frame or anything else, become red-hot, and literally weld itself to them. Not good!
