What a magic place it was for me to start the game, i spend hours just roaming around talking to all the npcs and learning the lore, such nostalgia :')

As my first foray into FFXIV was choosing Gridania, and I was so lost inside then city. Then I left the city and was doubly lost cause I could not figure out the gate system. Fast forward 3xpacs and hundreds of hours later and it just feels so good to be home when I have to go back.

Only downside of Gridania is that it doesn't have a nighttime music track like the other 2 starting cities. Other than that, it's poifect
