  • Nothing is sadder than deeply loving someone you just can’t live with. Their love is palpable. I’m glad they reconciled before their deaths.

Ya know what I love about these two. They never tried to sing over one another. The best in country music
  • I think that might be the worst pain. When you love each other so much, but you just can’t be together.

You can see the ‘pure love’ they had for each other in their eyes. Their fighting was notorious...but Tammy & George sure could sing a tune together. We miss you both so much! 🥴
  • One of the greatest IF NOT the greatest duets in country music history . You could tell that they still loved each other , sometimes love just isn't enough . Where have all the greatest country artists gone ? Because they sure aren't in Nashville. As George asked , Who's gonna fill their shoes ?

Every time I watch this, it never fails that I cry each time I see her start to get teary at the end, George puts his arm around her, and then she wipes away fallen tear drops. I'm so glad they agreed to do this, and we all get to witness the endearment that they still shared.

Notice how George holds the mic a little further away from his mouth, so as not to dominate Tammy's voice. Well done.
  • The Chemistry just oozes out of these two... Anyone who has been down the divorce road probably gets this... You can feel the intensity as they wipe away the tears.

Never be another due like this. Pure magic
  • Here I am in 2023. I remember when this first hit the airwaves. I still adore this song and those two singing together. He's from Vidor and I grew up in Orange.

Who is listening to the classics in 2022?
  • Country music really doesn't get much better than that. They lived their life an open book and that song says it all. Two amazing performers in their own right but dynamite together........forever!!!! xxx
