  • @meowismeify
I agree with Britney Spears being #1. The younger generation might not understand it but Britney was the biggest worldwide phenomenon that has ever happened in music industry after the Spice Girls. I have yet to see a peak that massive.

I'm not a massive Pink fan or anything, but she deserves to be much higher. She's been consistent since 2000 and always delivers to her fans
  • Shakira, Xtina, JLo, QueenB and Britney... WHAT A TOP 5! AWESOME!

Britney Spears was a cultural phenomenon! The Madonna of the 2000's. You can't deny the impact she had on Pop Music during her peak. Christina Aguilera(The Chameleon) should've been #3 she may not have sold more albums than Britney or Beyonce but her iconic voice is more than enough to be higher than J.lo! #10 Avril Lavigne #09 Kelly Clarkson #08 Alicia Keys #07 Jennifer Lopez #06 Shakira #05 Missy Elliott #04 P!nk #03 Christina Aguilera #02 Beyonce #01 Britney Spears

just clicked on that video to check if Britney is on the first place. None of these ladys were that big as britney used to be in the early 2000's. so she definitely deserves to be #1. We love you, Britney.

Shut up haters. Late 90s and 2000s is Britney's era. You can claim the 2010s for Beyonce or Lady Gaga or whatever all you want but you can't steal this one from Britney. She saved Pop Music more than you could ever imagine. When she arrived with Baby One More Time, and with Blackout. Those were the eras where pop music is almost dying, but there she was reviving it. You cannot deny the impact she made to the pop culture and how she paved the way for many artists. The global phenomena when she arrived is sooo crazy. She was everywhere even without YouTube, Facebook or Twitter yet. She was the next big thing after the MJ phenomena. It's undeniable that she's pop royalty alongside MJ and Madonna. Try Googling The Holy Trinity of Pop and you'll see what I mean. She may not be as controversial or as famous as she used to, but girl is still winning in life while you're seating there hating.

I've gotta say it, but Britney Spears is the modern day Queen of Pop. None of these girls are bigger or more iconic than her. She really has a legacy they could only dream of tbh and she doesn't get enough credit or empathy for that matter either. Considering everything that this girl has been through, almost death - and yet she's still slaying to this very day. This makes her the most strongest woman in this list as well. Congrats to her and proud of her. Some really do love to hate on Britney, but I'm glad to say I'm not one of those negative, judgmental, small-minded people.

Yes ! Britney Spears was the queen of the late 90s and all of the 2000s. No one can deny that. She is the first singer in the world to make the whole world talk about her since she was 17. She is the singer who invented teenage pop music. She is the first singer who managed at the age of 18 to make over 25 million sales on her first album "Baby one more time". She is the first artist to received the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at the youngest age. She is the only artist to have won so many awards than any other artist in her career. She is the artist who made the most iconic appearances on VMAs . She did a duet with michael jackson on the song "The way you make me feel” in 2001 and she gave him an award on VMAs in 2002 . She is the person who made Pepsi famous. She is the only woman that she performed like a monster on stage . She has sold over 110 million albums, making her one of the greatest and richest artists of all time. Rolling Stone magazine recognized her immediate success as one of the "25 Top Moments of a Debut Artist of All Time", while the music channel VH1 ranked her in eleventh place with the "Top 100 Singers of All Time". Britney Spears is the Most Searched Person on the Internet. Rolling Stone named "Baby One More Time" as the greatest debut single of all time. She made pop music looking perfect 🙏🏼 SHE IS A LEGEND 👸🏼
  • If Britney's not number one, I will absolutely DIE. Love you Brit ♥

Britney is definitely number 1. She's the most googled person of the 2000s. She's most requested and waited on MTV era (no Youtube yet). She has lots of hits after hits. Sold out concert. Massive Phenominal superstars of her time. Followed by paparazzi moment by moment And even up to her conservatorship period she can still climb with ease at the Global music without any promos. Everyone should wait for her breakthrough comeback. Truly an Icon. Powerful.
