I've known several mayors of small towns over my life time. I've never seen one that had any kind of "Security Detail". They didn't need escorts. As a matter of fact, they enjoyed walking around talking to whoever they saw on the streets. Only the guilty, corrupt criminals need 'PROTECTION' from the citizens.
