This just makes me sad, he's an giant enormous talent, he can sing act can do Broadway etc He should have been a big star earlier, I'm so happy he has the recognition he deserves

I said it once and I will say it again, Billy Porter had/has one of the greatest voices of all time. He’s simply amazing 🎥👏🏽

Talent. Less...?  Really...?  I don't usually respond to this kind of vitriol. But I will say that there is some validity in the "Just because you can sing a high note doesn't mean you're good" comment. I will venture to say, that sometimes it's about being young and wanting to be heard. And sometimes as said "artist" grows up and matures the depth of ones art can deepen and enlarge. Most of these clips are of me when I was in my 20's. I'm now in my 40's and like most people, I'm a more grounded human being which makes my work as an artist the same. You're right, it's not about high notes. It's about your heart. My heart is now in the right place and I continue to have the 25-year career to prove that fact. WHERE IN THE HECK HAVE I BEEN? The first time that I heard of Billy Porter was in "Pose." I REALLY have been missing out because THAT voice is truly one of the greatest gifts on this earth. When God gave Billy THIS VOICE he was truly showing off!
